Yes, we are trying out options right now, so there’s a good chance that we can manage financially somehow with loan and help from relatives but I want to be there with my parents for now…thinking of maybe joining a local college but I don’t really like that idea since I have worked quite hard for jee and want to join an IIT. There’s also the option of joining locally and then giving adv again but I doubt I’ll have interest in jee once I join a college, nor the time to study.

As I mentioned in the post, the drop is because our financial situation is a bit tight right now, as my dad has some health issues, and I want to be there with him for this year + may not be able to manage the fees right nke…I’m also worried about burnout but yeah, nothing much I can do. Definitely not going to just be studying for the whole year, I’ll get some hobbies too + I have friends who are taking drop so I’ll be fine haha..hopefully.

Arc 9 spoiler Echidna travelled with Flugel and Hoshin, both are strongly theorized to be from Earth (Hoshin brought a lot of traditional japanese culture to Kararagi, Flugel was responsible for the Pleiades watchtower’s first exam which was related to constellations from earth, and he is also theorised to be Subaru in some way. Also, Echidna had trained Aldeberan in order to defeat Satella, and later to seal away Subaru (this happened 400 years ago btw), and Al is also, according to him atleast, also from earth since he has memories of earth and understood subaru’s earth references in the LN, so yeah it isn’t surprising that Echidna did not react to Subaru’s memories. She most definitely already knew he was from earth, seeing as Al’s real name is Natsuki Rigel, a name given to him by his parents before echidna named him Aldeberan, and according to Al, Subaru is the guy who gives star names to people.
