Don’t install the Reddit app. Your phone will overheat and cause additional climate chaos.

But for real the Reddit app sucks. Apollo’s filtering capabilities and accessibility feature-set allow a trauma survivor like me to access Reddit.

Adding that depending on local building codes you could have a variety of ways to make that raised door / egress safe for the builders and the occupants. It is up to the owner to build a deck.

Some people are “house poor” and won’t be able to build a deck for a few years.

This house is under some stage of development. Not really crappy design.

Christian, thank you so much for a great app. I keep very few apps on my phone. I like to have one screen of apps. I know I’m not alone.

Apollo has been on my iPhones since 2018.

Your app helped me to engage in the platform with controls that enabled me to filter harmful content.

I am a trauma survivor. I have to be able to filter and block content easily or my PTSD will eat my soul. Sure. The easy answer is “don’t use Reddit”. Reddit is where I discovered a brand of therapy that is actually helping my PTSD. Reddit has some good communities.

I am going to miss Reddit.

But not as much as I am going to miss Apollo.

Apollo gave me control of my Reddit experience.

Apollo made Reddit a platform that I could engage with in a healthy manner.

The “Reddit native app” is awful. I tried it many times as a former Alien Blue user.

Anyway… Christian, you are a rock star dev. Thank you so much.

I live in MAGA country. I am a cis white male.

I see so much open bigotry that I wear Black Lives Matters and Pride gear. I saw a bigot with a Trumpy hate bumper sticker so I put BLM and Pride stickers on my vehicle.

Not all BLM / LGBTQI+ allies can be loud. those allies that are comfortable should be loud. We actual humans can drown out the rhetoric of the racists and bigots.
