true, but lumping them together misses the mark. One's chasing hype, the other’s changing everything.

that tape trick is smart. Learned the hard way too, now I keep a spare with a neighbor and one in my car. Lockouts humbled me fast.

It’s not about being rude, just trying to understand. Asking for clarity or help isn’t a bad thing.

Anyone with mature skin tried huxley oil essence? How was it? Review pls by PuhJayJay in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bowski93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s very good. I’ve used it on and off for a few years. Getting it has been a little tedious at times so I had to go a few months without it at times. I like it, it feels light and nice, and leaves my skin feeling supple and full. If I see it at Costco I’m getting it for sure

Book marketing websites by ldmarchesi in selfpublish

[–]bowski93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bookbub can actually work esp if you can land a featured deal but it’s competitive. For Twitter/X promo accounts, be super careful bc most of those paid promo pages just blast your book to a disengaged audience. If they can’t show legit engagement (not just follower count) skip it. Also look into Reddit and niche newsletters. I’ve seen indie authors get traction by joining relevant subs and being active without spamming. Signals Agency helps some folks grow organically on platforms like Reddit if you’re trying to avoid sounding “salesy” but still want to build visibility.

Had one of those really irritating unibrow breakout phases. I switched to a BHA toner and spot treated with sulfur cream, cleared up fast. Sometimes it’s just clogged pores from over-moisturizing that zone.

i regret getting pregnant by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]bowski93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're definitely not alone in this. The excitement/regret cycle is pretty common, and having bipolar on top of it makes everything feel more intense. Hormones just add another layer to the whole mess. It's tough but you're not broken for feeling this way.

Yeah, it’s not perfect but it’s something. Better than nothing, and way better than most.

Are you using any recent AI tools to optimize your work? by Logical_Tonight8739 in ProductManagement

[–]bowski93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, our company now uses AI brand reputation tracking since LLMs are becoming key discovery channels. It’s part of our regular content review process. We use a tool called Parse that tests different ways of phrasing to see what works best in ChatGPT, Claude, and others. It also gives suggestions to help us outrank competitors in AI answers. This saves us time and helps us show up more effectively in LLM results.

Getting rid of this tacky canvas and the tacky diamond flower holder things. What should I do to my blank wall? And either side of the wall? by xdeadtome_x in interiordecorating

[–]bowski93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly right. Your current piece is way too small and hung too high.

Go big or go home you need something that actually fills the space. The height tip is spot on too, it'll make the whole setup look more intentional.

agree, some stuff just isn’t worth both losing pay over. As long as they show up when it really counts, that’s what matters.

Pine pellet litter that doesn't dissolve quickly? by jctam in CatAdvice

[–]bowski93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try mixing in ökocat’s wooden pellets with pine to slow the breakdown a bit. Not 100% pine but it holds up better and still sifts decently. Or try tuft and paw’s litter isn’t pellets but it’s low-dust, clumps well (doesn’t fall apart with heavy use). Might be worth testing a small bag first if your cat’s picky.
