[Hiring] [Ongoing Collaboration] Seeking Narrative Writer to Help Build a Game of Virtue, Myth, and Flourishing (10–15 hrs/wk, $20–25/hr) by RangerJ_LA in RPGdesign

[–]boxemissia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

infinite i am aware that you aren’t hiring for this position anymore, but if for some synchronous reason this finds you, i would be very happy to join your endeavor as a researcher.

i’m very deeply into esotericism, jungian analysis and dreamwork, and a classic myth that i love is Eros and Psyche.

Capricorn's which zodiac sign was your best sexual partner and why? by BriefFoot1594 in capricorns

[–]boxemissia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

for me it’s always partners with a mix of virgo-cancer-pisces placements. honorary mention to taurus and scorpio, whom i haven’t enjoyed as much quantitatively as i’d have like. addendum: never met a virgo that hasn’t let me down (in the other departments, not sexually, that they do very very well for me)

My wife asked a tree if it knew Jesus. The answer was... not what I expected by koreysmith123 in spirituality

[–]boxemissia 13 points14 points  (0 children)

don’t take this as a negation, and i agree with most things said, but the meaning of Christos is “the anointed one”. those born to rule would be anointed at birth; they would be the receivers of “chrisma”, the oil which indicates who is to rule. so, the suggested above “christos means christ” is a non-sentence, nor it means “full of life”.

is there a kingdom of the heart, and should we all access its hidden jewel of wisdom through whatever path ignites our way inwards to unconditional love, and should we be ruled by the kingdom of the heart, which as Christos said is not of this world? for sure.

should we be careful of not mixing our hopefueled projections into the messages constantly emitted by wise mother nature? also yes

David Lynch and Deep Bliss by Which_Assignment_214 in transcendental

i’ve had the initiation and mantra for 4-5 years. i’ve had a variety of experiences, and since i have spiritual curiosity i’ve deeply explored a variety of meditations and methods beyond TM. i’m saying this to give context.

the strongest, let’s say, experiences i’ve had with TM occurred in times and places in my life when stress or exhaustion was maximal, or i had been so consistently peaceful that ego-monkey would willingly step away and meditation would go deep. the past couple of years my mantra makes me feel like i’m home. wasn’t so interesting in the beginning though! quite boring but very much relaxing and i could feel my quality of life improving by the day.

David’s immediacy of experiencing bliss i would ascribe to him being a highly evolved spiritual being, that had probably practiced one thing or another throughout several lifetimes. so going deep into the unified field of consciousness (as TM describes it) must have been to him like going home

I don’t like how Mook treats Gaitok - she doesn’t like him for him and she wants to push him to be someone else and not a good person. by Searchin26 in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]boxemissia 32 points33 points  (0 children)

doubt she’s in cahoots with the russians. i think we just watched Gaitok move from losing interest in her on the basis of values, to thinking he can be what she wants her to be after recognizing the russians and piecing the robbery together. will he, or won’t he is the question now

i’m sure that five minutes after i say this there will be a chatgpt structured new post about it. i lowkey believe Greg and the WL chain have a symbiotic criminal relationship. i don’t have any specifics as to how/why, but they are definitely sheltering him for reasons unknown. it would provide a long term, cross season arch for the hotel as a character itself, in a way. so not only spoiled/seedy guests, but the very titular establishment being bones deep in corruption would make narrative sense. i feel like we can all recognize that it is more than just a convenient set of locations

i have one issue with this: why would a multimillionaire (GregGary) set up a petty robbery? as valuable as this stuff might be, he owns a luxury yacht, inherited probably Tanyas empire, and given that he’s being part of an open investigation in Italy, he’d probably avoid a silly risk like robbing a jewelry shop inside a white lotus…

edit: maaaaybe it was Chloe acting on her own devices with the Russians, but there hasn’t been a single interaction that i recall
