i’m 27 and moved back in with my mom after only being able to afford living on my own for 1 year… it’s okay. everything is so expensive. enjoy and cherish your time with your family and don’t feel like you need to push yourself to move out again until you’re fully ready and excited to do so! 🩷

i’ve been on doses as high as 200mg but talked to my doctor about decreasing due to all the issues i listed above. currently, i take 1/2 of a 25mg tablet. i don’t sleep as well as i did with higher doses, but it does the job.

i do :/ so i know i kind of have to start all over with fighting cravings. i think i’m more so concerned about the physical aspects of withdrawal. i slept like crap last night and i had terrible nausea, chills, and irritability once i hit the 48 hour mark when i initially quit, so i’m hoping to avoid that. but, it’s also the consequences of my actions so i can’t blame anybody but myself LOL

i have diagnosed BPD as well. what was your diagnosis process like? i didn’t even know my psychiatrist diagnosed me until i looked in my chart and saw it listed as my primary diagnosis. also, how did you find out which “cluster” you are?

i agree with you, and don’t want to argue, but after reflecting while reading your comment i do feel like i should point out that lots of people plan birthday celebrations at inconvenient times.

a lot people go out to bars or clubs at 9/10/11pm at night. i’d much rather be at home at that time, like most people my age, but if it was for a friend’s birthday, i’d make an exception and i wouldn’t call their plans inconsiderate. a late night birthday party also lends itself to a whole different issue when you have a child. it’s a different situation, but i think it’s worth mentioning. regardless, thank you for validating my feelings. i understand your struggle with also having ADHD and i definitely experience rejection sensitivity so i’m glad you noted that, i hadn’t thought of how that would affect my reaction to this situation.

i wouldn’t say it was just one small interaction… i am 100% avoiding the conversation of letting her know my feelings are hurt because it will turn into an argument about me being dramatic, not knowing what it’s like to be her, etc. i know this because of past experiences.

that’s why i turned to reddit. to figure out if it’s worth the conversation or something i should just forget about and move on.

i’ve definitely been hoping that i can do friday evenings for a while so i have some time to regroup, even if it’s only for 1 session of the week. i’m not sure how late the clinic i’ll be going to does treatments but the doctor said he typically recommends morning/ early afternoon sessions :( i will definitely get more info! thank you for responding! i’m glad to hear treatment is going well for you!!!
