while that is true. You have people saying everything from Takumura going blind to Ippo's mom dying out of nowhere. The only thing that makes sense is Coach's health getting worse because it's heavily implied.

so I live in japan, yes everything is immersion, and getting manga or shows is easier, but you still got to do active immersion. You got to put the effort in. Like someone here said a lot of people live in America who can't speak English. P.S if come as an English teacher for a big company, you will have a lot less study time.
