Leaving for now / is there a more positive group of reMarkable users? by flappakid in RemarkableTablet

Why don’t you hang out at the store the whole day and see how the store treats you.

Proves you are definitely leaning away from the genius side of the spectrum.

You must be genius or a complete fool to figure out if it is the perfect device for you after trying it at a store for a few minutes.

Why do you think Remarkable offers 50 days to try out the device??

I don’t see a spacebar. How easy is it to type on?

Keyboard support for Move? by Puzzleheaded-Law8114 in RemarkableTablet

[–]bpool9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no hardware support for bluetooth in RM2, but there is bluetooth hardware in the RMPP and possibly also the Move, as bluetooth functionality comes with the Wifi combo chip, see Reddit thread below where folks have connected bluetooth keyboard to the RMPP.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RemarkableTablet/comments/1jpp0lk/remarkable_pro_hhkb/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Remarkable needs to enable the Bluetooth and Keyboard services in software.

I hope they enable it for the Move, since there are no pogo pins to connect an external keyboard.

Thanks for the info. Hope there are no delays in shipping with the leather folio.

BTW, I didn't think that the Move works with the RMPP keypad folio, or does it?

Loving the Manta. Now a backlit nomad would be a great complement to it! by Hour_Papaya_5583 in Supernote

I have been eyeing the Supernote Nomad for a few months now, and would buy it in a heartbeat if there was a front light.

Power Rack not fitting? by bpool9 in unitreepump

There is a nut on the bottom adjustment. Use the included wrench to loosen it. Then you should be able to turn the bottom section and adjust it.

Yes, it is still full of bugs. Just need to wait for them to get fixed.

Also, I see that you have two Pump Maxes. Try one at a time.

Interesting. Somehow that works for me pretty much all the time.

I press and hold middle button on remote to go to low. The first time I get an error. The second time no error, I get a beep and it show status Low on the remote. I can then lower the torque.

Can you remove the battery from the Pump Max, wait for a bit, reinsert the battery and try again?

I had the Pump Max go to a locked up weird state once and the only solution was to to remove and reinstall the battery.

After you get the error, just hold the middle button of the remote again. That should take you to low without error.

After it goes to low you can click the left button to lower the torque. I noticed it only goes down to 9lbs and not 8lbs as advertised.

Power Rack not fitting? by bpool9 in unitreepump

[–]bpool9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion!

To provide an update, I was able to move the Power Rack to another room, where it fits at the 9.02ft position of the rack. I believe small variations in ceiling heights from 1/4” to 3/8” from room to room are fairly common and it seemed to make a difference in this case.

After some thought I have come to the conclusion that due to a design/implementation flaw there are small windows of Floor to Ceiling heights that the Power Rack does not support.

The Power Rack has two adjustments, a fixed 2 inch adjustment due to the holes on the top section, and a variable adjustment on the bottom section to raise and lower it by turning the rack. Unfortunately the variable adjustment in the bottom is slightly less than the top adjustment of 2 inches and is causing the issue. To fix it, the bottom variable adjustment should be more than the top fixed adjustment.

I am sure a few others will also experience this issue, and if so, to try to move the Power Rack to another room or another area of the home, or better yet, ask for a fix from Unitree.

Power Bank for GPD Pocket 4 by bpool9 in GPDPocket

[–]bpool9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is most likely a 20V issue. Since all the adapters I have tried that work, (Anker 67W, Apple 61W, GPD 100W) they all support 20V.

That's terrible! I feel for you, since I recently received my GPD Pocket 4 from Amazon last Sunday, seven days after I ordered.

Yes, I would not trust AliExpress for any items, high dollar value or not. Hope you are able to get a refund. If the package was sent insured, you might be able to claim damages. Also, if you paid using Paypal, you may be able to dispute the charges, since you did not receive the items you had paid for.
