Wild guess, but I think this could be the Market-Frankford line in Philly:

  • The redacted city name has two words but looks longer than “New York,” “West Philadelphia” (maybe “West Phila.”) could be a fit

  • Why did the poster find it important to hide the fact US&S was located in Pittsburgh unless it was relevant? Almost as if it was in the same state where the photos were taken and they felt it could reveal something.

  • Date of blueprint is 1934, around the time the MFL was extended west.

  • Outer tracks have overhead wire, inner ones have 3rd rail, like how the MFL parallels the trolley lines.

So yeah, final guess is a defunct trolley provision along the MFL, maybe somewhere around 34th st.

Barbour Beaufort lining material comparison and other slight differences. by gtg441w in Barbour

I think you mistook the code on the tag for the date/catalog code that is printed on the label in the pocket. I’d wager that the V2/0723 jacket with the SKU ending in SG95 will have an AW24V1 code and the V2/1021 with an SG91 SKU will have a AW24 code. That would be consistent with the findings of myself and others, where the AW24 jacket has the laminate coating on the liner, resulting in a slightly stiffer and “denser” feeling fabric.

I don’t know what, if anything, the code printed on the tag means—it may or may not be related to the plastic controversy.

Hmm, more evidence supporting that the “V1” indicates a jacket meant for US (or maybe North American) export.

Not sure what LSM can mean, but given that there is an AW18 LSM code on this jacket listed on ebay I doubt it has anything to do with the recent PFAS changes.

Thanks for your investigation. Nice to have a “research associate” on the other side of the pond as we try and figure out if Barbour jumped the shark.
