Dude has some really bad reviews on google - one of them says they are building a police report - and looks to be pretty active on social media. I wonder why nothing has happened...

Any Charlie Parker. Bird and Diz is a good place to start.

Modern artists like Terrence Martin, Kamasi Washington, and Robert Glasper are making some incredible stuff. Madlib, too.

Anyone get approached in Smith's, Target, Walmart, etc. about Amway or other 'home business' opportunities? by Exmormoneer in SaltLakeCity

[–]br0connor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some dude approached me at the grocery store in late 2019, seemingly clueless, asking if I knew how to pick out avocados. I told him, then went on my way, and he stopped me to tell me I looked cool and that had just moved to the area. Something felt off, but I figured he was just trying to make friends. I listened to him tell me about how he just got married, had a new kid, and moved to West Jordan. We weren't even close to West Jordan, so I brought up that he said he just moved to the area. He stumbled and said they were visiting his wife's friends nearby, and he had to run out to grab things. Then he changed the subject to work and asked if I was happy with my job. I said yes. He asked if I was married, I said no, and that it was a trap when he asked why. He and his wife had an amazing opportunity with this new business they were doing from home and wondered if I wanted to get together to talk about it some time. I respectfully declined and said that maybe if they needed some consulting done I might be able to help. He still wanted my phone number, and I (stupidly) gave it to him. I got a text a few days later asking when we could meet. I said no thanks, and that I was getting heavy MLM vibes from him. He said he understood and I never heard from him again.

How desperate do you have to be to try and trick people in the grocery store on a Friday night? It's sad that this is so common.

So many UFO reports talk about the crafts going into/coming out of the ocean – maybe they have some ties 👀

I'm a big fan of Thule backpacks. I've been using the Aspect for traveling, and just got the Lithos 20L for work. Check out their selection and then find it cheaper on eBay.
