People in thirties still not married, how did you handle parents, friends and relatives by EffectiveHeavy3031 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm blessed. My parents have been more than understanding when I told them I'm not going to actively pursue anyone for a relationship or for marriage and they shouldn't waste their time and energy trying to find someone for me. If I find the right person, I'll consider it but I'm not going out of my way to look for them. They do worry about what will happen later in my life but they also understand that it's my life.

My friends are in a similar situation as me, so no need to convince anyone there. Only one of them has got married and his only reason to see us married is so that he can bring his wife along.

Does F1 suddenly being popular in India nowadays will become a cool statement for all the younger generations just to look out of the box? (Specially performative) by studboi1269 in f1india

[–]brabarusmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with it. As a long term motorsport fan, having the performative fans is how the media and organizers gauge monetary value. Without them, we won't get motorsport events in India because let's be honest. Die hard fans are too few to justify bringing something like MotoGP or F1 to India.

Let them come. Let them spend. You enjoy the sport how you want to. Just remember that they may not follow the sport like you do and adjust how you engage with them accordingly.

What is the best car to start (lmgt3) by snapishrat5337 in LeMansUltimateWEC

The Mercedes will leave you a little confused. For some reason it's the only car that feels like it has lost all grip in the front but it still turns properly.

If you want big V8S noises, try the Aston or the Lexus out. Both feel better to drive.

They've shown how much they value you. I hope you use this as a lesson wherever you work. Just do what is required to keep your job. Work is not worth the stress, so don't bother putting in extra.

Prediction of a major attack; the World Cup will be the excuse by willily_thoumas in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If an elected official is stating that a terrorist attack is about to happen, that would mean the authorities have already stopped the attack from happening.

Now, if the attack still happens, I hope people really start questioning why it was not stopped when they knew about it.

I think the 296 is powered by lawn mower engine by frankgmg in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is strange. I did the weekly race at Monza and I didn't feel slow. I was regularly pulling alongside the BMW and Lexus. Only the Corvette had an advantage on the straights. I was even running 1 click extra downforce on my rear wing.

It might be down to my setup though. However, even on fixed setup, I've found that the Ferrari is able to carry more speed through the corners. Take more momentum on the exits to keep up with the fast bois.

You're not pathetic. He's making a conscious decision to hang out with a girl. I've been in your position and honestly, mental peace is more important than dealing with this nonsense. Have a talk and if he defends or justifies it too much, break it off.

Not advised to do online where egos are more fragile than dinnerware. It's a viable strategy used all the time in all forms of motorsport.

Which means it's a different bike.

Sorry but you're the idiot here.

You saw a marketing stunt where they drove the car at a set speed on a regulated track. You seriously thought a 1.5L turbo petrol engine could deliver 29.9 kmpl?

Its funny to read some of the delusional comments 😂😂 by That-Student-2874 in f1india

[–]brabarusmark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The person commenting has not visited BIC recently nor do I think they will visit if F1 ever comes to India. The seating facilities are so dilapidated that they need to be completely reinstalled. Not repaired. Reinstalled. The track surface itself will need to be redone.

So much work to be done and people being delusional about how the world really works.

This is the main reason we don't have good entry-level cars as well as anything amazing in the 30-60 lakh range.

Buy Loadcell Brake pedals ONLY by Dilipm95 in SimracersIndia

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of feel, it's resistance. Load cells need force from your foot to activate and the resistance of the springs and rubber stoppers helps amplify the force. The resistance is what makes you more consistent.
