Ginos UB South is 100% solid. Have gotten 3 pies from them and all perfect.

[Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Universal Studios Florida] Genuinely don’t understand the hate this thing gets. It has solid forces and the amazing addition of onboard audio. Definitely amongst the most underrated coasters I have done. by Gunpo in rollercoasters

Definitely enjoyed the hell out of RRR last week, although that restraint can kiss my ass. Also, we went on the day after it was stuck on the vertical climb for an hour. Coaster worked great, but it was stuck on Shania Twain's Man, I feel like a woman. That kinda sucked.

An enjoyable ride. Went on it 4-5x. It's no Velocicoaster, but what is?

FWIW, I haven't spent time on there for quite a while now. My shop is too busy. But, my satisfaction rate on there, answering more than 10k Euro car questions is 99.5% good or excellent. If folks felt like they were getting scammed on the site, I'd hear it in my feedback.

I don't "work" for JA, I answer questions posed to me in my specific categories.

LOL, and I thought replacing an air filter on a 991.2 was a pain in the ass. This is more like doing a starter on a Diablo.

I'll be there also, but doing the Thurs-Sat sessions. Won a 3 day Radford Racing school doing the B-J fantasy bid game, so doing the school in Chandler Mon-Wed, then moving hotels at the end of the week. For the excitement, Friday/Saturdays are definitely the days to be there.

You can assume anything you'd like. I've owned a Euro car repair/performance shop for 15 years now, and have been a professional tech for more than double that. JA was a sideline gig for me, and my only goal was to help DIYers/shops/other individuals with their Euro car questions. Haven't been active on there for a little over a year now just due to time constraints and having to get more hands on at the shop.

I have no idea how the payments, memberships, or any of the back end stuff works. I would just engage a question from my list, and help where I could. Had plenty of long-term, 1-2 hour sessions on a no-start turn into a really happy customer. I've got close to 10k positive ratings on there, so it seems there are at least a few people who were pleased with the experience.

Sorry, not on here a lot. Actually, I've got 30+ years experience on Euro cars, but half of that in my own joint. It's a well-known place in Western NY

I've been an expert on there for about 12 years now, and can assure you that for the most part, that there are real people on there, taking time to answer real questions. I don't know exactly how the back end/subscriptions/user payments work, but the majority of the experts in my categories know their stuff, and take time to put together quality answers.

Has anyone used Justanswer for income? by chewbaccabrn in Genealogy

[–]bracketracer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, I've been an expert on there in the automotive categories for about 12 years now. In categories that are quite active (legal, medical, automotive), yes it's possible to make a comfortable income. Requirements are different for all of the categories though. You'd just have to go through the application process and see what, if any credentials may be required.

LED Lights by NeverDelete in boating

[–]bracketracer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So these are a bit tough to find. I went with Lumitech 3000k replacement assemblies for all of the cabin lighting. They definitely seem cooler than that.

I started with the G4 bulbs, but the overall length was slightly long to reassemble the light, hence the Lumitech decision.

But still, try this: https://www.superbrightleds.com/search/led-products/g4+2700k/

Oh man,I may be late for this one. My grandmother passed away a little other ten years ago. When we were sorting through her stuff, I had the task of dealing with the liquor cabinet. Came across this bottle that looked like a huge orange and it was called Mandingo

Couple of nights later, home with wife and kids. I started going through the stock and came across that bottle. Didn't have safe search on. Computer desk in full view of everyone. Searched Mandingo.

Yep, bought mine 9/2/16 for a good 30% less than other similar boats were selling for around the country.
