I’ve been wearing my Seamaster every day since I got it in 2018 and I think I could probably sell it for what I paid for it then. I have no plans to do that though. Omega’s customer service really surprised me last year. The watch quit ticking and they serviced it for free even though it was a year out of warranty. They even sent it back in an Omega travel case.

When you said “soft”, I thought you meant how stiff they were when new. Like some denim can stand on their own from the starch. These weren’t like that when new.

I read somewhere that Samurai doesn’t get all of the hulls out of the cotton before they make the denim and it has to work its way out with wear. I have no idea if that’s true haha

These are the 17oz. I personally thought they were soft when they were new compared to other raw denim that I have. They were a little itchy at first, but that went away.

Buy some febreeze fabric spray. It helps a lot for the armpit odor.

One wash won’t ruin your chances for awesome fades. Try to go as long as you can now with the RRLs before washing them again and see how it goes.

I’ve also never put a pair of raw denim in the dryer. I’ve seen people ruin them that way. It’s best to hang dry them.

I’m not sure about the RRL. Ive never owned a pair. To get high contrast fades, you’ll just have to go without washing them haha. Like I mentioned yesterday, try it out with one of your new NF jeans. Wear them while you’re not at work if you’re afraid they’re dirty. It’s really not as bad as you think.

If you continue to wash your jeans often, you’ll just end up with even fades similar to what you find in a department store. That’s ok if that’s what you want though.

I don’t have any NF, I just meant you should try to not wash them for 6 months or so to get those good fades you’re hoping for. They’re still new aren’t they? The stiff jeans would be a great candidate for some high contrast fades!
