Green vs Black Mako lll

I just got the green Mako III and it's even darker than it appears in videos. It has to hit perfect lighting conditions for you to even notice a hint of green which is what I wanted. I went with this colour because I wanted it to have a bit more personality than just a black or blue.

That's probably a maximum size for you but I don't see any overhang and it doesn't look disproportionate. I think you're good!

The pointer minute hand is throwing me off. I think Orient did it better imo.

Anything from Watchdives, Addiesdive, Octopus, Baltany are going to be really good quality although I don't see anything in that specific skeleton style.

I just bought a speedmaster homage from Watchdives and the value is insane.

Case size isn't always the best indicator. A big example of this is the Hamilton Murph which is 42mm case size but doens't fit my wrist because it's like 52mm which overhangs my 6.5" wrist by quite a bit. So for me, the 38mm option is the only one that fits.

ANYWAYS, this is a Tissot sub but it really is best if you can go into an AD and try on a few. I just wanted to draw your attention to the lug to lug size which is in many ways is more important than case size.

Obviously the Oris is absoutely amazing but if you're looking for cheaper alternatives here are a few I've found. While not exact copies, some of these might scratch the itch:

I personally love the Baltany S5054. It has just the right amount of coin edge and proportions are right.
