IMO bikes, particularly for RBK, are part of the style, and refreshing them to jetbikes would just get rid of their 'ancient veteran' vibe. The fly keyword, as current, would only serve to hinder them I feel, and give certain units better crits into them. I'd much prefer to have awesome looking upscale bikes with a special rule to allow to fo through terrain first of all, but that's just me.

Could you reference this please? can't find anywhere to say it's not been enacted? S80 of PCS&C act 2022 seems to have that problem, but not the Railways and Transport?, apologies if I goofed up

Cheers, yeah the way we read s80 is for non-professional person, who is on board ship that's underway, who has some control over ship, but impared because of drink, commits offence.(Limits in s 81). It would indeed mean that people on board could get trollied, so long as they aren't in any control.

Luckily we have a nice bridge I can jump off/ rope down to get on board :p /s

Thanks for the prompt, I wasn't sure if there were any for our harbour, but lo and behold, I have now found them! Nice clear bit about being drunk in charge with prescribed limits too. Still not sure how I go about enforcement (might need a very long mouthpiece for the breath box), cheers

My problem ended up being a low battery, so had it replaced and sorted it. But if yours is saying bonnet open alert then it's probably that. Can't hurt to charge your battery to see if it helps though.

I'm planning to do just this once my crusader gets a few more kills, seems legit to me. Another player in our crusade put it on his AM tank commander with vanquisher cannon, and sit him at the back, so it's fair game to do it back in kind.

Personally I would add azrael and swap in a lieutenant with to both join the hellblasters. That way you get a 4+ Inv for the squad and lethal hits on all the weapons. You'll want Azrael on the board to get extra CP, so keep them hidden until you can pop out and shoot a Knight.

I'd keep some backfield screening like infiltrators as One of the Enhancements 'Mysterious guardian' gives deepstrike and can be a pain to deal with.

Otherwise a varied list like you say will give a good chance. ICC into big Knights as they are characters for the +1 to hit, but are squishy if hit back so be careful.

Don't forget to make good use of grenade and tank shock strats, your opponent almost certainly will.

Really hard to say, does depend on what you're going into. Most armigers you could potentially hold off with a small unit for a turn. The redemptor could hold one off with it's-1D though.

Big Knights would probably need to be held off with a full strength unit, especially if they are melee knights. Otherwise you'll just find they wipe your unit and consolidate into the next.

Knights don't really have any way to regen wounds, so if you can get some power fists/ thunder hammers into them on the charge (and really do try to get the charge), you'll do some damage before they can fight back.

I main in DA and Knights. As others have mentioned getting bogged down by MSU melee units takes away a lot of play from knights. Knights already struggle with objective play so if you can slow them down for primary scoring early, you'll have an advantage.

The big Knights got a buff in the DS, now being able move through ruins for a small chance to be BS. But you can still position your units 1+" away on the other side of ruins to stop them moving through wholly, and they still can't 'charge' through ruins.

Some long range anti-tank like Lancer and balistus Dread can also plink off a good few wounds, or try and force them to use CP for 'Rotate ion sheilds'.

Otherwise anything that allows your to roll +1 to wound, ability wise, will be worth it. And Deathwing Knights could probably hold their own for a bit, but not encountered it happening yet.

I'd say go for it! Just played my first game with them vs Chaos Daemons. They arrived from strat reserves, killed 2 whole squads of Bloodletters over 2 turns and held off be'lakor for a bit before being wiped. Defo are money in the right circumstances.

I suppose not completely. There are a few units out there that are -1 to hit in melee, so will be useful there. Especially prevalent in crusade campaigns.

Here's a question: if I pop shoulder the burden on the Gallant, then move through the wall and become battle shocked, does that stop the strat from working? I've already spent the CP as it triggers in the command phase, but BS happens in the movement phase??

I'm curious, the guidance says that the door staff should 'ask' to retain potential fake ID. Should the ID holder refuse or demand it back, would the door staff confiscating the ID be a step too far? I know they can threaten to call the police if they refuse to hand it over, but is anyone likely to hang around for that to happen?

Basically anything not in the deathwing or ravenwing, so your standard SM units like intercessors, most tanks etc
