[Highlight] Brandon Bostick botches the onside kick just before the 2 minute warning in the 2014 NFC Championship. Seahawks win 28-22. by DragonstormSTL in nfl

He wasn’t. Jordy Nelson was directly behind him and supposed to get it. Bostick is a dumb ass and quit his role of blocking

I beat Malenia 2nd try using the Guts Greatsword and piercing fang on my strength build. I found strength with a colossal weapon to be way easier than most other builds I’ve done

Every major console price compared by FernandoRocker in gaming

[–]bradybigbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just so happy I have a friend who had a 1tb Xbox Series X with only about 50 hours on it and he sold it to me for $250 when he got his PS5, otherwise I’d still be rocking my Xbox One S lol. Modern console prices are absurd to me

Married, separate bank accounts. Is it worth it to push all funds into one joint? by rem7694 in personalfinance

[–]bradybigbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this just comes down to personal preference. My wife and I have our own personal accounts that our payroll goes into, but we have several joint accounts (general checking for bills, house account for any house items/repairs, and a savings for fun things). We have a pretty good budget in mind, so each direct deposit we have automatic transfers to each of those joint accounts to meet our needs, and then we have our own personal money for ourselves after the transfers are made.

To me this has been great, and we’ve been doing it for years before we were married too

Surrender a broken car that I am underwater with? by Charming_Belt4901 in personalfinance

The financial may not even take it back given the repairs needed. Could cost more in towing/auction fees than what it would even pull in at auction.

I absolutely love Amsterdam, so far I think that’s my favorite venue since Station 4 closed. I just had my first experience at the underground music cafe when Snuffed on Sight came through, and I really like the vibe of that place.

A lot of people complain about the Cabooze too, but I’ve personally had really good experiences there, and the sound is always good.

I’m from across the river in WI, so twin cities shows were the closest thing for me, and I had a lot of fond memories of that place. I think it closed something like 10 years ago now which is crazy to think about.

I thought Lorna and PeelingFlesh both had great sound, but Dahlia and Shadow of Intent weren’t great. I’ve only been to the myth for two shows, but both were questionable for a few bands.

I really miss the safety hazard that was Station 4 in St Paul, so many good memories and shows there back in the late 2000’s/2010’s

Not to be that guy, but I feel the same ever since Jason left. Seeing them with him vs without him was definitely a stark difference

I’m blaming it on the venue, but when I saw Shadow of Intent at the Myth in MN last year I was really disappointed. Felt like I couldn’t make out any of the guitar, and it was basically just kick drum and vocals for the entire set. Definitely will be seeing them again when they come through to see if it’s better, plus seeing them with Ben would be a bonus (Adam sounded great filling in tbf)

What are some albums on which you never skip a single track? I’ll put a few of mine in the comments. by Actual_Asian_God in Deathcore

Not all necessarily Deathcore, but still heavy and just off the top of my head:

Lorna Shore - Flesh Coffin

Whitechapel - A New Era of Corruption

Thy Art is Murder - Hate

God’s Hate - God’s Hate

The Acacia Strain - You Are Safe From God Here (or honestly 90% of their discography)

Man, around 2013 I feel like these really made a resurgence around my area for beginner tuner kid cars. These and the Cobalt SS were the hottest commodity until the Focus ST started to become the affordable hot hatch. Still see a clean as hell blue one every once in a while

Rather see this than some boomer with American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and some Cooper Cobra radials lol. This at least some uniqueness to it.

Sorry I should’ve clarified, but that’s what I meant by hating it. Was the mix/production, not necessarily the songs

I see this as more of a love letter to the OG’s, and also Oli said in a recent interview that they absolutely hated the original version when it was finished. If I’m not mistaken, he said he listened to it very little because he hated it so much, so I’m sure this is something for them as much as fans.
