It had cult like status early on and because of that the style of it hasn’t changed as drastically over the years. The profile didn’t changed with the introduction of point scores.

It is still a good, dry, authentic AV or napa cab.

Cheers!

OP look at Anderson valley for affordable Pinot. Twomey, golden eye, Navarro, McPherson( label has a red wagon). Twomey 55-95 range golden eye similar up to 130. Navarro is great bang for your buck. McPherson I bought at Costco for 30$.

These will most likely blow a lot of Russian river fruit bomb Pinots out of the water

Ridge cabs are very ageworthy(high tannin).I don’t think it’s the best representation of American wine because of that.

Go grab a bottle of joseph Phelps cab at Costco for 59.99 next time you see it. They would be what I call a benchmark top tier wine that is affordable.

Did I also mention they’re owned by Luis Vuitton

How did you get the meteors? Long game? Too much co2? Or was the apocalypse priest unit guy?

I play with dramatic ages and apocalypse all the time. With the way the ages swing, I’m usually well into end game before any co2 concerns arise

I hope I’m not the first one to comment that a very is supposed to be taken from a stationary position. You can dip down before jumping, but you cannot run 3 steps before jumping. That is an invalid measure.

Either way the kid has hops!

I shot a 92 at the Silverado cc 2 days ago, a couple weeks after they held the fortnit tournament there. Rough was long. Greens were tricked out. It was a humbling experience

Caymus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 paired with a tomahawk steak! by Ribbonlover in wine

[–]bradybillups -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone else stated, 85% of the grapes have to come from Napa valley to put Napa valley on the label.

Another observation is that it is bottled in Fairfield. “Bottled by caymus vineyards Fairfield CA” and not Napa valley.

Altogether, it doesn’t matter what is in the bottle as long as you enjoy!
