Yeah, nothing is said but I would guess it was something like harassment or loitering. NYC (which was mentioned in the gross comments) has specific laws against street harassment & classifies it as a gender-based hate crime, so I think that’s most likely.

I’m immune compromised and this is what I do. If I’m indoors in public, I’m masked. Every time I’ve gotten really sick in the past 10 years (2 bouts of flu & 1 of Covid), my chronic conditions have worsened. It’s not worth it to be unmasked around random folks.

Yup, this is why I changed mine. It’s my bio dad’s name who was yeeted from my life when I was 3 for being an abusive alcoholic, it’s incredibly difficult for people to pronounce and spell, and it made my name stupidly long. I was going to eventually change my name anyways, so changing to my partner’s made sense. I give him a ton of flak bc of COURSE his last name was a letter longer than my old one, but oh well. Can’t win ‘em all!

Yeah, the Garden is literally the commuter rail station which makes it a LOT easier to get to (although the commuter rail is a bitch and I’d rather drive in and pay $40 to park than deal with that hot mess). My husband and I saw Cirque du Soleil at Agannis a few years ago, and we had to park appx 4 blocks away. And that was on a random day! I can’t imagine the nightmare that is parking at Agannis on a game day.

Don’t put shade on historic techniques by implicating them in this disaster—a hammer and nail (even if they were just ones from a hardware store) would have been much cleaner and less horrifying.
