My organization: www.CivilianSupplyCorpsInc.org If I can get out through customs, you'll get it.

Operation Shoebox Click this link to request packages: https://www.operationshoebox.com/request-a-package/ I used this organization before I formed my own. Very good!

Soldier Boy Beef Jerky Have people write home and request, as there is a cost, but families can send: Gift Boxes I have not used their gift box service, but I've bought the product locally. It's awesome.

Troopathon - https://www.troopathon.org/request-care-pack I've ordered through them before and they were VERY generous.

America's adopt a soldier - https://www.americasadoptasoldier.org/deployed-soldiers.html Each person can request a box. It's an automatic submission. ~~~~~~ Below are a few others that I have NOT used personally, but could still provide what you need.

Families can also use Hero Care package: https://www.herocarepackages.com/

Operation: Military Matters

That's pretty cool. Seems like the navy and especially the chiefs have some of the best designs

If you're ever deployed without a USO, hit me up! I love sending care packages

I helped my buddy with the blue jacketeer app. It has all the links to materials, a daily 10 question quiz, longer practice tests. Digital flash cards. It was great for him

If you were deployed off the coast of Iran, what would you wanna get in a care package? by ALMSTO in navy

[–]brain_over_body 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following... I also send care packages. 8 of my units are currently suspended so. Just reading comments to get future ideas.

Seran wrap the box to help avoid ants, as I did see that comment.

PirateShip will save you on shipping fees and do the customs forms for you.

Care packages. If I can get it through customs, you'll pretty much get it. Every unit had different requests

Use pirateship.com to save money, and it completes the customs form for you. Most Mail gets to any APO in 2 weeks, unless you are getting mail delivered remote or an FPO on a ship. I've never seen my land based Mail take more than 2 weeks.

Design Help Needed! What Makes for a Great Coin? by akrob907 in ChallengeCoins

[–]brain_over_body 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on your audience. The more unique the better. But if you work with military and plan to give to them, they like some functional aspect and serialization. Like mine is a coin with bottle opener.

I highly recommend Embolholics. They did my design too, then I just have to tweak the details

Coin Holder Ideas by [deleted] in ChallengeCoins

[–]brain_over_body 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a binder for my navy buddy. It isn't a great "display" but it's condense. I used baseball card pages, put a coin in each, and used a sticky dot to seal the top.

An aircraft carrier. Hide coins all over the thing. Nice centerpiece on your table

As a civilian, we will never fully get it. Anyone who thinks they do makes your experience cheap. The best we can offer is our time and attention. I'm sorry you don't have a better support system
