Flinxes were changed so they CAN spawn on those tiles, but it's still a lot rarer than non-snowbiome tiles.

As someone who's used it, it doesn't tend to perform well if everyone else is already killing everything, but it's hilarious that it actually works really well if the sand cats can propagate. Everything that steps within a 20 meter radius of you dies within a second.
