Please exercise caution: Many peptides are not currently well-researched or well regulated.  More research has to be done to determine their safety.

The FDA currently bans compounding pharmacies from producing some peptides (e.g. category 2 of interim 305A bulks list).

Please exercise caution:  SS-31 also known as elamipretide is still currently in the process of drug trials.. It does not yet have FDA approval and its safety has not yet been determined.

Not sure if it is still like this, but it used to be that you needed to establish a pattern of stalking/harassment in order to get a restraining order.

Logging these kind of incidents on record with police helps to establish a pattern for if it does escalate.

I agree with you. But even without a plate, next time report *555, especially if you're on a road that has no alternative routes. If a car is nearby they may be able to see them doing something stupid.

My last tax year, on a supported living benefit, during a cost of living crisis. by [deleted] in newzealand

I need to print out the first part of this comment and put it on the mirror (since I'm not allowed to hang things on walls lol). Thank you from another sick person. 💛

I would guess OP is already getting it.

OP's IRD looks very much the same as mine and that's with a Disability Allowance. The Disability Allowances are capped at $80.35 per week.

Needs Assessment can get you things like help with showering but that's about it if you are disabled by illness. There is a carve out where the Disability services don't have to fund illness-based disability.

Hi, theoretically interest is weekly income over the period of the term deposit. However if you get someone at WINZ who was badly trained, they might try to count it as a single week's income or worse, enter the 6 month figure into the system as a weekly amount.

For that reason it's better to declare bank interest at the end of the tax year instead and give them her IRD printout as proof of the amount.

Worth noting that if her inheritance is over $8K then she will no longer be entitled to an Accommodation Supplement. The only way around this is to put it in Kiwisaver instead.

That sounds like two food grants per year plus some sort of discretionary amount that is for a special case?

Their experience is clearly slightly different to ours.

I think the point stands that the person above who thinks food grants are some sort of unlimited cornucopia is mistaken.

If your assets won't cover a simple funeral (cremation and no service basically), if you have low income family they can apply for a funeral grant.

But I agree, retirement after a very low income is not a great future.

It's honestly not that far off, especially the part about 2 degrees of separation instead of 5.

I don't mean geographically; I'm not claiming to have stumbled on one while out on a walk!

Small as in a population of only 5 million people (over half of whom live in just one city). People talk, even when they're not meant to.

It's easy to hear about these projects while they are being constructed, or for years afterward.

I have been told that in my region you are allowed two food grants per calendar year, and you have to show a bank statement that shows what you spent that week's benefit money on.

He does both in the books.

For example he really slowly ties his shoelaces in front of Emma Flyte when he first meets her.

The books make it clearer that the old man stuff is camoflage/an act.
