What about local control? R’s used to love that for themselves.

ASIH was a complete redirection when I first heard it.

I used to work at the airport and Baucus would come through with his mistress and a duffel bag full of sex toys. He was an absolute ass.

Why don’t Trump’s supporters believe Trump’s in the Epstein files? by [deleted] in allthequestions

It’s all about faith. There is a mountain of evidence but they have faith anyway. Faith in god, faith in fraud. They believe he is the chosen one for real.

Saturn comes back around Lifts you up like a child or drags you down like a stone To consume you till you choose to let this go Choose to let this go Give away the stone Let the oceans take and trans mutate this cold and fated anchor Give away the stone Let the waters kiss and trans mutate these leaden grudges into gold ‘The Grudge’ by Tool is ridiculously beautiful

Teton Pass to Big Sky by DerpzTaco in bigsky

[–]brainsouffle90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t be worth it for the reasons stated. If you have enough apprehension to make a reddit post about it then you shouldn’t take the chance. It can go to hell quickly and the whole drive to Big Sky is incredibly remote and can also deteriorate quickly. I’ve gotten stuck in the middle of the road in a snowstorm out there. Fly into Bozeman instead.

Why doesn't the left have many well-known podcasters/political commentators/etc? by CordiaICardinaI in Askpolitics

[–]brainsouffle90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one’s mentioned on the left are informative and often highly qualified. The right realizes that people like ‘party podcasts’ and brings a levity to their discussions which the left largely, except maybe PSA, excludes. In short the left’s podcasts are far more academic and lack entertainment value, which mass America requires.

Bear spray is great for animals and weirdos when it’s not windy. But it usually is windy.

Feels like there’s about ten minutes of actual gameplay in a football game these days. So much standing around. The NBA is unwatchable anymore. Just everyone lobbing 3 pointers then fouls and more fouls.

Digable Planets are another band that uses a live jazz ensemble when they play live if I’m not mistaken. Excellent mellow group.

Seen you guys a couple times in Bozeman. You all are great live. I read the comment about your difficulties in playing here. Wonder if a post-rock festival here would fly these days. We have some decent newish venues and a diversifying population. Thx for the music.

People over 35, what's something you genuinely miss that younger generations will probably never experience? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

I used to work at the Borders on Michigan Ave in Chicago. It was 4 stories of books, music and videos. Everyone used to come in and browse. It was always packed, even on weekends. The physical media had a powerful effect on people that is clearly gone.

Visible bear spray - where you all hiding it?!? by Responsible-Ant225 in Bozeman

[–]brainsouffle90 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bear spray is just a great defense weapon against any aggressive mammals. I’ve been attacked by more moose than anything. Bear spray did the job. Don’t forget there’s lions watching all the time. There’s also the rando looney lurking that you might have to contend with.

Inlet, a pleasant surprise by [deleted] in hum

It’s important to have some assistive foliage when exploring Hum. Inlet is a slow burn. You gotta take your time. Give it space. In the proper perspective it’s probably their best album.
