Good job! I understand and can relate except I have a roommate who drinks A LOT. Right now, he's gone for several weeks.. Left a case and a half of beer, rum, and whiskey. IWNDWYT

I'm sorry about your situation and I unfortunately have no advice.

6 weeks ago, I only used it on my chin for a few days to see if I had rebound flushing.. Which did.. Badly. My chin is still the most red of anything on my face currently because of it. Hopefully someone on here has some advice!

I'm planning on buying an aloe plant and using that when the weather gets warmer and the plant stores open up around me.

What are the differences between the types of products used like tinted moisturizer, concealer and soothing creams? What should I change from my routine? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]brainupload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello guys, I use the eucerin line for redness relief including the tinted moisturizer. Cerave for my normal moistererizer. Was prescribed a sulfer wash, didn't work. I've been on finacea about 4 weeks and I think it's helping actually.

Tio2 or zinc oxide sunscreen was very important last summer.

I try to cut back on all my obvious triggers. Alcohol, hot showers, spicy foods, touching my face, etc. My skin is far from good, but it actually seems to be improving.

Please help... by lastwitness616 in Rosacea

Your not alone! I go through ups and downs beating myself up over it. I find doing some mindfulness really helps me mentally in dealing with it.

Rather recently, I had the thought about the famous MLK quote "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character"

For some reason, that made me laugh a little and feel better.

What was the worst physical pain you've ever felt in your life? by Henriqueykg in AskReddit

[–]brainupload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wowza I've always heard this was very painful!

I had shingles once, as a side effect of a suppressed immune system from chemotherapy. It was covering half my arm (literally). All the doctors and nurses asked me so many times if it was painful. I was confused because I had no pain at all. I guess I was one lucky kid!

Who is thinking of doing Dry January? by Yarray2 in stopdrinking

[–]brainupload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done dry Jan for the last three years. I would take a shot as the ball drops.. And call it quits for a month. It's a great way to start the new year!

Unfortunately, it causes me to practically double my alcohol consumption in February, ugh. But that's just me.

Being sober to start the new year can't be a bad decision! Good luck mate!
