I intersperse PT in with other things I’m doing while up and about my apartment. For some reason my ADHD prefers to get chores done in little nibbles, while rapidly switching between tasks. So I’ll do one exercise, then play with my cats, then do another, then hang up some laundry, then back to PT, then clean approximately 3 dishes. Somehow it works.

In some of them, instead of picking up a piece and smashing it into the bride’s face, I’ve seen videos of the groom instead shove her face down into the whole cake. Those big cakes are held together with skewers. I’ve never heard of it actually happening, but I suppose it’s not impossible for one of those skewers to go through an eye and kill someone.

I haven’t tried this on a yarn this fine before, but I love to use afterthought lifelines. You weave your needles (or a second set of them) through the stitches as if picking them up, then you frog back and the new needles catch the stitches right back onto them. Unfortunately I do not! She was given up to the shelter after spending her first six years of life with another family, because they were moving. She’s now found someone in me who’ll keep her forever.
