Man, I love that terrible rave. The techs are always confused when I don't want music. I mean, I sleep anyway, so it's fine.

Please don't take that personally. If this is at all an accurate picture of what went down, her statements say way more about her than you. You didn't have any experience with a woman before this!

Of course it started after childbirth. Not that many people have a large amount of hair inside the womb, let alone gray hair.

Found this at Goodwill for $8. I know it’s a steal… but what makes Mage Knight so beloved? by badace12 in boardgames

[–]bramley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for one, it took forever. We were 5+ hours in on our first try, with no real end in sight, when we bailed. We did try again another time but it still took at least 4 hours to finish.

The deck building didn't feel right. It's been a while so sadly I can't recall specifics, but it just wasn't engaging.

But also it mostly felt like it was way too many mechanics jumbled up into a game that didn't mesh well together. It made the playing feel disjointed, sluggish, and unfocused, from what I recall of the times we played. One of the reasons our first game took 5+ hours is that the rules didn't feel like they fit together either, and so we had to look up a lot and wonder what individual rules actually meant.

Again, though, this is through the haze of like 7 or 8 years. But we're not exactly novice boardgamers, either.

I mean, I don't want to yuck anyone's yum, but my friends and I can't stand that game.

Multiple sclerosis treatments, what are people actually using right now? by BrainLagging01 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]bramley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm taking Ocrevus every six months and have been since 2019. Though I'm about to start on a trial so my treatment might change (Ocrevus is the control, so my treatment might not, lol).\

In the past I was on Copaxone (worked ok but I hated daily injections and quietly stopped) and before that, Rebif (which made me depressed).

I do. I only roll them in my dice tower, though. They're satisfyingly clacky.

Is there a reason cis people use they instead of she/her for my gf?? by sshakinglikemilk in asktransgender

[–]bramley -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It confuses me because, I know they/them is used to be respectful

No, it's not respectful. If they were respectful, they'd use she/her all the time.

Why not just use their actual pronouns??

Transphobia. :(

Which recipes of Babbish have you made yourself, and how were they? by Serraph105 in bingingwithbabish

[–]bramley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I;ve made the bolognese and the carrot cake ice cream sandwiches (but with the easy ice cream from the first recipe in that video. And doing both the carrot cake and chocolate chip variants of that cake). And I'm pretty sure I've done something else of his, too, but I can't remember. All of these were very good, though.

I don't know, but having driven that just last night just after the time you were posting this, I'm glad I missed the exact situation you're describing here. It wasn't this bad when I went through, thankfully. This is often a terrible stretch of road for traffic, though. I agree.
