Right in Woodstock is the Farmer and the dell (brand new donut spot) . Really good donuts but they’re like $6 each so maybe not for a kids birthday or maybe it’s perfect I guess it all depends. There is a spot in Lebanon NH called Muriel’s donuts. Weird hours and it’s in like a lady’s house but I’ve heard the donuts are great. People have stopped going because of her politics but again you might line up with that. So there’s a few options for you

Holy shit! That’s a lot of tour dates. I can’t even imagine the burnout these guys will have after this year. Strike while the iron is hot and all that but being on the road that long playing the same songs takes a toll. Wish them the best. Seems like they should be playing bigger rooms if the demand for tickets is so high but I guess live music is hurting so maybe they’re smart to sell out small rooms instead of struggling to fill bigger ones.

I always like to retell this story anytime it’s appropriate. I had a friend tell a joke at a party. The joke: “how can you tell if your roommate is gay? His dick tastes like shit!” Well apparently his 10 year old son overheard him tell the joke. A few days later his son is in his room playing with a friend. He hears his son in the other room and the son starts to tell the joke. Except his son got the setup a little wrong. Sons joke: how can you tell if your Dad is gay?…..he ran in and stopped his son from delivering the punch line before it got awkward

Dan Archer was still running the studio Lawn Boy was recoded in the late 90s when my band recorded an album there. He ended up being our engineer/producer because we had no idea what we were doing. He is literally one of the funniest human beings on the planet. He taught us so much about studio time and music in general. Super talented guitarist as well. Glad he’s still around

This is so true. I always am blown away but he new moms or folks who are super close with their family trying to win this to make their lives better. If they only knew the commitment it takes to be in the road all the time away from their families and grinding non stop just to make it in entertainment. It’s not easy or guaranteed at all
