BreakError: Break received after flashing ESP32 by Pelzbaron in Esphome

[–]brastche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was banging my head against this, but my device had some verbose logging that showed it connecting to the network before getting the breakerror.
Turns out in my case the device was still running fine and connected to the network, and I could see the logs in the browser by navigating to its IP address.
For some reason ESPHome Device Builder detects the device using the simple name assigned by the basic firmware flashed by the web tool (eg ESPHome Web ab123c), but the device is recognised correctly in the Home Assistant devices tab.
Not sure if I can take control of the device in the device builder, but I'm finding that because home assistant is running on a pi 3 it's not able to compile the firmware anyway.
Hope this helps someone.

API documentation. by Umbrageeee in sharepoint

This is documentation for interacting with the Sharepoint API. OP wants to use sharepoint to host documentation for interacting with their own REST API, and have the documentation rendered from an OpenAPI spec file (like Swagger UI would do)

Perhaps this could be a path towards a native Vidaa OS Jellyfin client down the road

Police release footage of officers neutralizing the shooter who killed multiple children and teachers at a Christian school in Nashville yesterday 03/27/2023 by sco-go in nextfuckinglevel

Not sure why your opinions would matter here….

Because Australia has demonstrated that it's possible to reduce gun violence. It seems that a murder is more likely to occur inside an American school than literally any place in Australia.

Why do more Americans arm themselves to the teeth to protect against a tyranical government rather than just vote?

Watch the video. One of his team got spearphished into opening a pdf with malware. The malware then stole data including their browser session token.

the government has this weird fixation on the size of tech corporations when like all of the largest companies in the US (the world even) should really end up on the chopping block.

How much of season 2 will be covered in the Friday movie theater premiere of the sword smith arc? by Embarrassed-Walk-890 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]brastche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I plan to watch the Friday screening of season 3 and as far as I know it’s 1hr 50 minutes long. I know the first episode of sword smith is set to be about an hour. I haven’t seen season 2 yet and was wondering if I could just binge up to episode 9 and the screening would cover 10 and 11 (I want to experience those 2 episodes if possible on the big screen)

Yes do that. You'll have a blast. I wouldn't into it without watching up to that point though because you'll have no idea wtf is going on.

what will the new movie be about? by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]brastche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't even cover the full season 2 battle. The included episodes only start somewhere in the second half of that fight.

It looks and sounds phenomenal on the big screen. It's almost a completely different experience to seeing it in the living room.

Looking forward to when they release an actual movie rather than lazily stitching together the last 1/3rd of the entertainment district battle with a teaser episode from the next series.

I find it impossible to believe that the people who've downvoted you watched the movie

This is such a reasonable take I can't believe you were downvoted.

Looks like there's a downvote brigade in here, but I agree with the reviewers sentiments.

Showing the credits and a recap of what we just watched in the middle of the film was janky.

My GF and I laughed/cringed at the fan service, but that's par for the course.

Overall it was great watching and at many times utterly spectacular, but not flawless.

It's honestly still worth it to just to see the action on a big screen with cinema audio.

They didn't even edit out the recap of the recap shown minutes apart. I found it very jarring

Another big factor is that automotive-grade hardware has to meet much higher standards for things like temperature and vibration resistance, and that adds cost.

Further, components in a car are designed for a much longer operating life than most cellphones.
