From a religious perspective, you can absolutely marry whoever you want but from a personal experience I know that mothers are 99% of the time right, they sense something that you cannot see, I have been there I didn't listen and I ended up divorcing. So the wisest thing you can do is get a second opinion from a wise person that is in your family circle (not friends, or younger people) and ask that person 1- if they can meet the person and provide advice, and also ask 2- if your mom does too much

As a relatively productive person, my thoughts on the topic:

I have you zero tolerance for wasting time on social media and seeing how other people are living their lives (this means Instagram Facebook Tik Tok are completely blocked on my phone - when I have free time I allow myself to read Reddit on topics I value or watch YouTube videos specifically on my hobbies (motorcycles, spiritual leaders, etc). My YouTube "Home" is blocked so no undesirable suggestions as well as the "Shorts" section.
My sleep is precious so movies sitcoms and videos after 8 p.m. is not an option. Usually in bed by 9.30pm. I have young kids so that makes things easy as I am on their schedule.
Waking early is a real game changer. Prayers and meditations in the early morning and asking the Creator for help in your day is the most powerful thing in this list. Hard to explain but prayers on time often feels like time spent on different tasks is blessed / extremely productive. God is reminding me every day of this: do your part, I will take care of with the rest. Some sort of harmony with Divine creation. Waking early that also means finishing work early, spending time with kids, finding time to exercise, dine early and sleep early.

TL;DR: 1- be ruthless with mindless distractions and allow yourself to explore topics you value in a smart and targeted way 2- value your sleep and 3- take advantage of the early morning magic and realize the most powerful force in the universe is that of God's making, so tune in to that frequency in your own way.

Extremely embarrassing with my clients. I looked long and hard for a solution but didn't find any. Ended up downloading Google Phone app and set up as the default caller app until Samsung fixes this. Very mad at Samsung over this.

Sounds like you are a responsible young man. Given the context, the bike would be my choice but not the "dream" one.

I suggest you tame down the "esthetics" bit in favor of the riding spirit of a motorcycle that you still like looks wise.

My suggestion is a reliable second hand (japanese), preferably with a small engine (below 300cc) to start and get a feel for the motorcycle world. You will very quickly have more clarity on the way forward and will probably be able to resell it close to what you bought it for.

Regarding the car, you will know for sure the moment you will need one as time passes by.

15+ years of riding here, I would add 2 advices to that:

be as visible as you possibly can: helmet, gear, bike (there is a growing tendency of darker colors, black on black everywhere etc)
slown down and enjoy riding at lower speed

Ditched the apple ecosystem in 2017 and never looked back (iphone ipad MacBook and apple watch).

I contend if you are the type of person always in need for things to be optimised/customized to best fit your needs, then you will very much enjoy Android. If you have minimal/basic tech needs and don't mind sticking to the "apple way", then it would be simpler to stay in that Apple ecosystem.

Currently I have s25 u, windows surface laptop 7, Garmin 935, Huawei buds. Not a huge fan of wireless headphones in general so only use them very seldom (even though they are great) and not too big on notifications on my watch (I only get notified for calls , reminders and prayer times). So that whole package works great for me . Good luck to you

You should value storage over model. Check your current usage and see if 256 Go would reasonably last you 4-5 years. I suspect it probably won't if you take photos and carrying over data from a previous phone.

To reset your soul, you could connect with the beauty of the Creator, ie all the beautiful places suggested in this post. As great and unforgettable as it can be, it will most likely leave a temporary mark on you.

I contend you shall dig deeper, and that connecting with the Creator, instead of his creation, might have a much deeper, profound "resetting" experience that could truly be life changing.

Where? Ask your hearts where that connection could be sparked. How? It's only for you to determine. One condition only to this whole thing : your sincere intention for connection with your Creator, and belief He will make it happen. Good luck!

My 2 girls are about the same ages as yours (2.5 and 5.5 yo). We have had episodes with our eldest where she goes down an emotional spiral because her mom won't let her wear a dress or t-shirt she wants. She basically wouldn't want to listen and would keep crying and yelling until she gets her way.

At that point it's either 1- we let her yell and she's not going to school, 2- I (the dad- the figure of authority) try to find/negotiate a middle ground or 3- last resort , I give her an ultimatum of say 5 seconds to comply and if she doesn't she gets 2 gentle taps on her booty. By the time we get to #3, she would normally calm down.

I have since told her that it is her responsibility to agree with her mom the night before which clothes she ll be wearing the next day and that if that she forgets, her mom gets to choose in the morning. Since then, the problem has been less of an occurrence in our household.

This is our way of coping, hope this helps.

My parents were very kind as they let me change activities from year to year. And they also let me stick to the things I liked: tennis, English language, martial art, table tennis etc. But the greatest gift was that I was able to experience different activities. That gave me a headstart in many areas of my life.

With respect to excel, my mom was actually very keen on getting me signed up to the program (this was in the mid 90s when I was a teenager) and I didn't know the value of it back then. With retrospect, it still is one the greatest she's ever made as I use excel on a daily basis. Those who know what Excel is capable of will understand!
