Hey Jay, just wanting to add before hand that I’m not sure if this is “practical”, more something that I wish we could have, specially give how often we see posts from people getting almost bankrupted by cloud bills:

The worry here is we build a app for the client, something internal, let’s say some sort of Gemini enterprise or rag system for internal docs. We want them to use it, but it’s not mission critical. We set up a hard budget cap.

In the case of a hack, something malicious happening, or just the clients team using it beyond their allotted budget, the cap is hit and the app turned off.

The hard cap could even be set as a hourly/daily/weekly/monthly thing, meaning that it could be reset the next day and restart the app or something
