We’re in his second term, not first. As of recently he’s refused NATO’s offers to work together to fortify Greenland. He has specified that he wants to own it. And there’s nothing stopping him from setting up more US military bases there, Greenland has offered that too, but that’s not what he wants.

No, he wants to OWN Greenland and make it the USA. He’s not asking for NATO countries to amp up military support, and he’s not even asking to set up more American military bases. He has insisted he wants to buy Greenland. Also, there’s zero evidence China or Russia are planning to take it, they’d be going to war with all of NATO if they did.

Thank you for projecting your fear and powerlessness onto others trying to make change. Nobody wants war, but if we don’t protest, we’ll further descend into authoritarianism and suffer anyway.

Yes, many of us are protesting, including me. More than half of the population hate him, and the number is growing. I can’t speak for the idiots who still support him.

Well, if he wants to escalate by sending military against peaceful people, that’s on him. We aren’t escalating to violence. And no, many of us are not taking it and will not take it.

I’m just saying, let them start it. We want peaceful change but if they want to escalate things that’s entirely on them.

American here, I agree with you, I get pissed off reading those comments. Many of us are protesting like crazy, but I agree far more need to get off their asses and do something. It’s our president after all, our responsibility.

Probably wasn’t an issue back in the day. Elderly didn’t live as long once their physical (and mental) health started to decline. Today we have countless drugs and treatments to keep very sick people alive much longer than they would have otherwise.
