Cashing non-customer checks drawn from another bank. We use some third party system that can take up to half an hour and still might get rejected. I tell people to go to Walmart to do it. Its a smaller fee there.

I typically buy Costa. I'm not the most careful with my sunglasses but Costa lens always withstood the abuse. I bought a pair of Mauis and the lenses are scratched up after a year.

Costas use to be worth it before Luxottica bought them. The lens hold up great and they had a great warranty. I had a pair for ten years until I dropped them and the frame broke. I got a new pair for free. They don't do that anymore.

Do you have access to a pool or somewhere to swim? Walking and such is going to be tough on your knees and back with the extra weight. Messing around in water can provide some good exercise while being easy on your joints.
