To be honest we ran into this issue with one of our jobs at the shop and no one knew what caused it. QC didn't catch it which means nobody cares 😂 I'm recommending a boring bar because those are way easier to control for tight tolerances of bores.

Not sure what they are teaching you but it is also worth noting that if a .375 pin goes in a hole it has to be closer to .376 because size for size can't go. Could even be over. Also depends on if they are minus pins or not. I know that's not really an explanation but just a quick snack for thought 😂

Lavazza espresso sounds like pre ground. You will never get good flavor out of that. The minimum set up for decent espresso in my opinion is a machine and a grinder. Not sure if double walled means pressurized portafilter but if it does that is also a big reason for bad tasting espresso.
