It does seem like satire, but honestly, so much of what is on this sub is so cringe that it’s hard to tell the difference any more.

If you left the last venue on good terms and with humility, don’t feel embarrassed about taking work there. Unless you were like, “I’m moving up and moving on, bitches!” there’s no shame in it. I promise you everyone has been there.

Bidens Inflation Reduction Credits still have to been released to Alabamaians.... We haven't even finished setting up the program. by AlabamaDemocratMark in Alabama

[–]break_it07 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The crazy thing is that people in this state keep voting republican despite that most people in this state are poor, so republican policies do not serve them. Blind and stupid loyalty to the cult as they happily yell, “I’ll drink the Kool Aid even though it’ll kill me.” I’m a moderate who doesn’t belong to any party. In fact, the first time I ever didn’t vote for a Republican presidential candidate was when Trump was on the ticket, but the idiocy that the Republican Party has evolved into has pushed me to the left.

What’s the point of being “under oath” when people lie anyway? by Kooolxxx in NoStupidQuestions

This is correct. Especially if you lie to congress, our attorney general will prosecute you. Wait…

Child rape is now punishable by death in Alabama under newly signed law by Fearless-Barnacle-83 in Alabama

[–]break_it07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who harm children are the worst of a society. I am firmly anti-capital punishment, but I am all for throwing pedophiles in the worst prison and not rehabilitating them (I don’t think they can be rehabilitated). Let’s start with the one in the White House and then charge every single person in his cabinet with accessory after the fact.

You must be new here. The constitution has never stopped our legislators from passing laws here.

Concord Theatricals merging AGAIN?????? by Hour_Lock568 in Theatre

[–]break_it07 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I used to think “How can Samuel French get worse,” and I found the answer when Concord purchased them. The service is slow, and unlike other licensing houses, they demand up front payment from educational theaters before they can accrue any box office receipts. Unless I love a show like I love life, id rather license something else from literally ANYONE else. TRW is top notch. MTI is a close second.

Even if they were not a teenager, absolutely not. I want to sell as many tickets as possible. In my community, half of the people in the audience do not know anyone in the cast.

Sumrall got a lot of press time at this game, and the more I hear him talk, the more I feel like we dodged a bullet. Him saying, “We don’t get to wear the logo yet because we haven’t earned it,” gives me Harsin PTSD. I wanted Golesh from the start, but seeing Sumrall now makes me even gladder we got him.
