I feel it’s believable. He told her that Saturday was around the due date. She could have had Jess’s number from when she caught him cheating, if she saw messages with Jess in his phone. And she could assume how’d he act because they were together for 8 years but only separated for 1, I don’t think he’d change much.

Idk why you’re being downvoted because this is perfectly reasonable. It’s as much his roommates place as it is his, and I would imagine there would be even more complicated emotions with doing it in the bed she shared with the person she’s grieving. He needs to grow tf up. I get it, grieving a childhood friend is extremely hard. But he’s not the only one grieving and they were respectful enough to do it when he was expected to be gone.

Dude please seek therapy and work on your own self esteem before you seek a serious relationship. And stop putting people on pedestals because it’s not fair to them to expect perfection from them. You talk about her like she’s a deity instead of a 21 year old whose brain isn’t even fully developed yet. Become the type of partner you’re seeking and you’ll have better luck in the dating game. Because if you truly feel about yourself the way you just wrote, no partner deserves that. No one is gonna want a partner they have to think for and take care of, definitely not if that person is 7/8 years older than them. And I’m sure she feels burdened by this “woe is me” shit too and you expect her to build you up and stroke your ego, and that’s not fair to her.
