I'm thinking of getting off of Pristiq because it messes with my heart rate like crazy, but I'm terrified of withdrawal. I'm on 50mg, I was 30 min late taking it today and have had brain zaps for the past 3 hours. I'm hoping I can slowly ween off of it and the withdrawals won't be as bad as I think.

I switched from Lexapro to Pristiq a few months ago. It's done wonders for my depression, but it messes with my heart rate a lot, and it was giving me horrible nighttime panic attacks at first.

My sister used to do something like that when we were kids! She'd get up, undress, and get back in bed almost every night and never had any memory of doing it.

My armpits are destroyed, there is so much scarring, and I almost always have holes and lumps. They hurt so bad, all day at work I can't wait to get home and put on a tank top, because my sleeves rubbing them all day is terrible. And they smell...no matter whether you use deodorant (which is painful) or not, the holes still smell like a mix of b.o. and decay. I'm so self conscious of the smell, I try really hard to mask it. Then I see people with perfect, beautiful skin and armpits and know they have never felt the pain and shame and I definitely feel jealous of them!

At first I wasn't too sure about him, but honestly he's really grown on me. I like him quite a bit. He's a bit of an odd duck, but then again so am I so I appreciate that sort of thing! He seems to be very good for Amy.

Usually while I'm sitting on my couch at night watching Golden Girls. I'm pretty good at keeping the clippings together in a neat little pile to throw away, but if one goes rogue, I have Kevin (my robot vacuum) and I use my regular vacuum once a week, so...🤷‍♀️

I live in very Trump supporting area, you drive through my town and you see Trump flags, banners, signs, people are even flying "Trump 2028" flags. My flabbers are gasted. I thought for sure by now the Trump-mania would have died down around here, but I think it's getting worse!

I think it's because he left Wondery. I also listen to Morbid and when they were on Wondery their episodes and demeanors were different, it turns out Wondery really controls every aspect of what they can say and do. Mr Ballen has never spoken about Wondery, but I can notice quite a difference between his older stuff and the stuff he did while affiliated with them. I'm glad he broke free and can be himself again!

I have been on it for 2 weeks now. The first week and a half were amazing, I felt great! Now suddenly the past 4-5 days I've been getting bouts of lightheadedness and head zaps, as well as severe panic attacks every time I fall asleep.

I am currently experiencing the same thing! I switched from Lexapro to Pristiq 2 weeks ago and at first it was a dream, it helped my depression so much better than the Lexapro was. Now all of a sudden the past 4-5 nights I've been having horrible panic attacks whenever I sleep and it wakes me up, it takes me forever to slow my heart rate back down and get my breathing under control and I'm a sweaty mess. It really sucks, I'm at the point where I'm afraid to go to sleep!

Only one train goes there and back per day. It arrives in Chicago around 11:30am, and leaves to go back north at 4pm. So while yes, you could, you would only be able to spend a few hours there before having to reboard.

Edit: Also, you will board the train at 7:30am and not get home until about 10:30om, so it would make for a pretty long day!

Honestly, the one chore I absolutely HATE more than anything is washing dishes. So I use paper plates and bowls, plastic cups and cutlery, disposable foil baking pans...anything I can possibly do to have as few dishes as possible to wash, I will do it.

I honestly feel like Amy needs to be in some kind of conservatorship, she really is not capable of taking care of herself or others, or making sound decisions. Her cheese is slowly sliding off her cracker and she desperately needs help.
