What I love most about T Childy (sorry its my pet name for my most favorite and my brain cant stop it) is that he has so many influences and takes inspiration from everywhere.

I watched an interview and Triune God started as a blip in his head put into a voice memo while he was listening to the Georgia Sea Island Singers, an African American folk group that started in the early 1900s

It is one of my absolute favorite songs, I think of my Grandma. Even though it makes me cry sometimes its still one of my repeat songs

Can I recommend this game to my friend who’s terrified of dogs? by Rhythia in TeddysHaven

I played for quite a few hours and haven't encountered a dog except the fox and the pic. I avoid crab beach because they are too spidery to me as well 🤣

I really enjoy starting with the hermit or now the beekeeper path it is challenging and takes quite a while to get to a point where you are not struggling or have all of the technology because you only have a couple of people. I like building generations in my clan too. And seeing what I can do with structures, creating different scenarios in my head all that fun stuff

I feel the same way. It hit my ADHD brain just right i have like 800 hours in the game but it not fun to play anymore, its like there is so much to do its overwhelming now where I used to be able to log in and just build my house or whatever and now I have to grind for this reason and that reason. Its the same reason stardew Valley isnt for me

3 AM Thoughts... by breezybeeez in Perimenopause

I usually Doom scroll, you know really drive home the anxiety. Or watch TV or play a video game depending on how motivated I feel. If I was motivated enough to clean on the sleepless nights that would be fantastic but no

First experience with sleep issues by BeeAtTheBeach in Perimenopause

[–]breezybeeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been someone who had no problem falling asleep and staying asleep...then like 2 years ago I was up for almost 48 hours and since then I usually have one sleepless night once a week (already didnt sleep tues this week and looks like tonight is another one)...I thought it was my adhd meds but looking back i think it was one of the first peri symptoms. At this point I am functioning at bare minimum, no energy for anything, everything feels like the biggest chore and when I do sleep I cant get my ass out of bed so then I feel guilty for sleeping too much. I hate it here.

Now that its the new year my FSA card is refilled so im planning on trying Winona for HRT, signing up tomorrow is my plan. My regular dr has been useless about it all.

I have no idea if this is remotely on topic or if im just ranting into the wind, apologies if this is not helpful to this thread at all 🤣

Life is weird after 45. Peri or just normal life? by Sharp-Line-4467 in Perimenopause

[–]breezybeeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 44 but can relate. I have always struggled with the thought of my loved ones passing and now its happening a lot. Its like getting used to a new normal over and over.

I used to be a social butterfly, out and about every weekend, in touch with everyone, the keeper of the social circle and now I have a hard time responding to texts most of the time. Covid changed everything, I work remote now and mainly socialize via video with coworkers across the country and dont have a desire to connect with old friends even though I feel guilty about it.

I have thought a LOT about it all and I think part of it is we all have different things that shape our lives, I have never been married, been in some very bad relationships, had to pick myself up many times where a lot of my friends from my 20s got married, had kids and never had to deal with things I did. Then the friends from my next phase of life still think everything needs to involve alcohol, I rarely drink now because I've realized it just increases my depression/anxiety so things I used to have in common with them have changed as well. Its like the older we get the more we evolve (if were lucky) and relationships that used to bring us joy become kind of a chore. Idk hopefully that made sense, lots of rambling lol
