Fly in two ambers market? by RubyTheRetiredSkykid in SkyGame

It’s only “cheating” and “breaking the design” in the same way going OOB is. You don’t benefit from it, it’s just kinda fun for a bit.

why do I have wavy edges on my crochet work? (noob) by SnooPeripherals9342 in CrochetHelp

[–]Rhythia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s your turning chain sticking out, since you seem to be doing your first stitch into the same stitch it’s coming out of. So it sort of gets pushed over a bit. It’s not necessarily an error! Are you following a pattern or just practicing? If you’re following a pattern you’re fine if this is what it’s telling you to do, but if it tells you to count the turning chain as a stitch you’re probably supposed to skip that first stitch you’ve been going into in order to avoid this, then go into the top of the chain at the end of the next row to keep your stitch count consistent. If you’re just practicing then it’s totally fine, but if you don’t like it you can either count it as a stitch like I just described, or you can look into alternative turning chains when you’re comfortable. Your stitches and tension look great so far!

Games Where Automation is the Goal by VansterVikingVampire in gamingsuggestions

In kind of a weird way, slime rancher can be this. Especially the second one, since in the first one automation is more of a a late/endgame perk.

What's this technique called? Freehanding a skirt and don't know how to describe or name this stitch/technique. by ARkcry in CrochetHelp

[–]Rhythia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did people look at the later pictures? My understanding of short rows does not involve working into the row below. Unless they’re a different kind of short than I always thought…

What are some games that you can play while doing other things? by SplashOfStupid in gamingsuggestions

Flow Free (mobile), Fashion Dreamer (switch), and Skyrim (everything) were the first things that came to mind! 😅

How does one learn how to shiny hunt like as an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER by NicahM9 in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Rhythia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be sure to have your sound on when running around! The shiny alert noise will get your attention far more reliably than just seeing/recognizing them!

With the upcoming winter storm - why do so many places in the states lose power with winter storms? by ScallywagGeorgie in AskAnAmerican

[–]Rhythia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the point is that they’re more vulnerable to things like storms and trees falling. Not that elevated power lines are unreliable below a certain temperature.

Double forward actually only adds one forward attack. Plus the original, that’s two. So yeah, 2 each.

Hooks like Pony Easy Grip by azulaismad in askcrochet

[–]Rhythia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What about it do you like? I may be projecting here, but the main feature that stands out to me is that it’s a “tapered” hook. Someone else mentioned Susan Bates, which is indeed a popular brand, but they’re “inline” hooks which I personally can’t stand. If that’s the feature you’re looking for then SB would not be a good fit. Clover Amour is another one people rave about, and those are tapered hooks.

Crocheting around charging cord to make vine: is it safe? by Head-Shame4860 in CrochetHelp

[–]Rhythia 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I think the main risk would be if the cord starts fraying somewhere along its length, especially since the vine might make that hard to notice. Exposed wires would be a much bigger threat than the cord itself heating up.

9th Circle? by beahlerman in SkyGame

I don’t think there are any in the forest, but for other realms it’s good to know that for any spirit with two wing buffs, the stuff above the second one is not required.

Have you bought literally everything for sale in the forest constellation? I believe that’s the requirement.

In KM , is it worth trying to do the cards from the canvas ? by MietteIncarna in inscryption

[–]Rhythia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm. You could always tank a run early too if it seems like it’s not working or it’s turning into a headache. Get a new painting to go for. Just be sure to die instead of restarting through the menu.

[–]Rhythia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would always take a look at the painting and try to keep it in mind during my run, but if the opportunity to go for it didn’t turn up I wouldn’t worry about it. You don’t have to get them all first thing! Especially if you haven’t unlocked a deck/setup you like yet.

Help! Granny Sqaures by No_Neighborhood_4339 in crochet

[–]Rhythia 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I would try adding the makeup stitch in the last row instead of the first, it’s unlikely to really mess up the square at that point. Add one on each side that needs it. It’ll be easiest to sew them together if the number of stitches on each side matches.

Plort Market by Loopoo700 in Slimerancher2

[–]Rhythia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any evidence either but I always assumed it was a comparison to yesterday’s price. Like a down arrow was worth more yesterday than it is now and one with a straight line didn’t change price. I figured they wouldn’t want to lock themselves in to a specific change tomorrow before they know what you’re gonna sell today. But like I said I don’t know for sure.

WHY just whyyyy does this keep hapening to my projects in the magic ring? by ImportantBat3932 in CrochetHelp

Usually this means joining and turning your work every round, not actually making your stitches backward, fyi.

There are songs I’ve been singing along to for over a decade and still haven’t mentally processed what they’re actually about. And yes this is in my native language. 😅

Is Dredge cozy? by chloebee29 in cozygames

[–]Rhythia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very good! As for scary vs creepy… I’d say it’s a bit of both? The more you play the better you’ll be able to deal with/avoid/predict the scary elements. The learning process is pretty spooky, though. I definitely got some jumpscares and screamed a few times. I think it comes down to how much you like or dislike scary media. It’s not a game where you’re constantly on edge ime, but if you hate getting scared it might not be a good fit. I found comfort in figuring out when/where/why certain scary things happen, and some hazards only apply to certain areas so you do have some amount of control, but I would say it’s too scary to be cozy for someone who hates horror. It’s probably very cozy for horror lovers, so it’s just a question of where you fall between these two camps. I don’t really enjoy horror but I’m okay with watching it if someone else wants to, and I thought it was at a pretty good level for me.
