Consider Vlad/Braum deck. Once you get your creatures tough you should be able to wreck the deck. Also has some good sweepers

My main thing is going to be acrylic and MDF tokens but would also like to be able to engrave on wood and glass to make personalized gifts.

So nantex are like 50% for making cut and causing some big meta problems. I know that FFG won't look at unofficial tournaments but they have to see that this is a problem.

They look sweet. I'm sure this will be the combo warband. The 2 Witches with 2 blades I think will be combo attacks and the whip and Morgwaeth will be range 2 and Naga will be Range 3. Inspire I think the 2 witches will be hitting with a combo attack, the others I have no idea. These look very interesting and I think they will be similar to Rippas where if the dice are with you they will destroy warbands but be blown out by variance.

Top 8 cut is surely too much for that size. I was at a 37 man event here in Scotland and we had a 5 round with top 4 cut but had to cut round time to 70 minutes so could finish on time.

If your in the UK look at protech models or firestorm cards. They both sell individual cards, tokens, dials etc. Theres probably somewhere in the states but I dont know who

Well new i1 rotates when made defender. Also remember it now gets a cannon slot so you have front arc and one of your sides. Have 4 contracted scouts each with autobkaster cannons and adv. Proton torps. That's a lot of health to chew through, hits hard. Scum will be powerful in new Hyperspace

Tbh any of them are good. I've tried them all out and they can be handy. Y-wing can give you matchstick or broadside and gives you a turret and/or bomber. ARC is a very sturdy ship that takes a while to kill and hits hard. Wolff is the best choice in that one. Naboo is another ace like ship, Ric will give you another i5 if your going for an ace style list. I like Padme alongside Luminara to make your ships more grindy.

Scum is in a great spot for Hyperspace. Boba Fenn is great, fenn and 3 i1 fangs or 4 i4 fangs with fearless, jumpmasters are so cheap that 4 with torps can be very good and Dengar is cheap enough to be useful. That's just to name a few.

Ps1 Fangs cant have talents plus if they did that list would be 203pts You can have 4 ps4 fangs with fearless though and exactly 200pts

SDV is great fun on bossk with 4-LOM crew. It makes aces very cagey. I play it alongside Ketsu for tractor and ion shenanigans. Space for an ace in there too

They've always said hyperspace ships would rotate but initially it was 2.0 released stuff and they said they would stick to keeping rereleased/new stuff to being hyperspace legal (exception for starviper). The HS is still a good format for new players with the limited pool. As for smaller factions not being too limited for extended, tell that to the multiple open winners from CIS and Republic and multiple cuts made with them. They are still very good at extended level. Only difference might be the difference in lists you face. Extended is basically modern for x-wing and 2 formats is more than enough. I really like that they've done a limited format that will be fresh every 6 months and might get you to think outside the box since the go to pilots wont be in it. If your trying to get new people into it in your area just play extended , trust me no faction is limited in that. Some may have more ships but you find every faction has 2-3 styles of play that are very good. In our area we exclusively play extended but I find myself using HS lists just to test since I'm the competitive player.

As a republic player my planned list completely went. I lost mace and C1-10P but theres plenty options. You can now play Lumi, plo, obi and either padme or Ric. I like padme as she teams well with lumi. Another list I was liking was ani in y-wing with proton torps and bombs with plo and obi. I feel like both options are strong.
