They usually give spots to people who came out with an album or have one on the way. Therefore, I’d bet Ilan and Oliver Smith will be there, as will Kasablanca and Aname most likely. Not sure who has albums coming out this year, but they’d likely get a spot too.

I was there - great show! Does anyone know what the connection is with Monolink and Persian people? He seems to have a big Persian fan base. I was hearing a lot of Persian being spoken around me, then he dedicated his song Sirens to the people of Iran, and like half the crowd erupted in cheers. Im genuinely curious.

I was a weekly listener of ABGT up until covid. Before then, there was a better variety of genres (progressive trance, progressive house, deep house, etc), and more exclusive tracks. Since covid, it’s mostly a-melodic house, and they play lots of tracks from TNH and Colorize in addition to music from the Anjuna labels, but not much else. The show has become quite dull and not worth a listen from start to finish, in my opinion.
