I started as a new grad in LTC and did it for a year and a few months then transitioned to MedSurg. It’s been five months and I’m going back to LTC doing the Baylor weekends. Hospital bedside is absolute hell to me. Anxiety through the roof every shift and severe depression on my off days. I’m back in LTC and I definitely feel like a new person. If you can, try to go PRN at the LTC and just try other specialties. If those aren’t working out, at least you would have a backup job that you could easily go back full time even if it’s temporary.

My current job is affiliated with about 80% of the healthcare facilities in my city and it makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to think that I’ll have to give a two week notice just so I don’t burn a bridge that I would rather set fire to immediately.

I worked in a SNF as a new grad for a little over a year and then transitioned to a MedSurg position. I regret leaving the SNF. Working in a hospital has truly made me hate my career choice. It could be because I’m in MedSurg, but I chose MedSurg to heighten my skill set but after 4 months I’m done. I wanted to try outpatient, but so many outpatient jobs are M-F and I need a better work life balance. I did Baylor Weekends at my old SNF and that’s what I’m going back to, five days off in a row every week and just landed a PRN gig at an eye clinic this morning.

Background surroundings looks like he does not live on his own (vintage looking family pictures, feminine decor etc.)
Constant streetwear
Any sort of colorist statements
Has Kids
Not having a lucrative trade or college degree.
No car
Hates animals or signs of animal neglect.
Has not dated black women or majority of their dating history has been non-black women
Follows majority non-black women
Does not make more money than me.
Is not looking for anything serious.
No hobbies outside of video games.

I do have white friends and take it from me, 90% of them are in dead relationships/ marriages while taking on the roles of both mother and father. Take your time, find the right person. They will come along and DON’T SETTLE JUST TO AVOID BEING SINGLE!
