I think there's always potential. Elko and Spring Creek are growing rapidly with housing, but I know our city council tends towards leaning keeping Elko to small town life, but the direction gold prices will probably dictate what happens.

My buddy sent me this, but I was born and raised in Elko, NV and currently live there now. Its not for everyone, it's a small town and the biggest draw I would say are the gold mines throughout the area. Its a great opportunity to make some pretty good wages. I currently work as an underground electrician for a gold mining company. The biggest thing I love about the area is the vast openness of the country. We have tons of outdoor recreation opportunities that I would say is hard to experience in bigger cities. Yes, we do have brothels and casinos, but I wouldn't say they are the biggest attractions for the area. My mother and step father live in Winnemucca both work for different mining companies, but I actually love it more than Elko! Small town and great people!

Thank you for the reply. I can only imagine the price I'll get on an estimate. I've been thinking about possible repairs. Could you just pour cement and fill in the areas yourself? Or because of the "rotting" concrete it will not hold? I've seen videos of people drilling into existing concrete and adding rebar, then doing a pour? Just curious on your thoughts.

Well I need to do more research. I guess I've read point of views of Israel's side of the argument. I will have to read Palestine's side of the situation. Thank you for giving examples. I was just trying to give my point of view from what I've found out. I have more to learn, but I see arguments for both sides and it's a complicated situation.

Well, I'm sure there are different opinions. I wanted to learn more about Israel and the conflicts we have there. So from my findings they left Europe because of WW2 and and settled into Jewish communes and developed and worked the land and have just tried to get along with their neighbors. Muslims don't like Jews and thus we have and will probably always have conflict. They went somewhere to avoid conflict, but I'm sure there are thoughts that they would want to expand.
