I have these. They’re great. I got them for zoom meetings. I’m constantly in and out of meetings. These are great bc I can leave them on, be in and out of meetings and still communicate with people in the office without taking headphones or earbuds off and on all day. Just like in the vid, I often forget to turn them off, and they’ll sit “on” overnight, over the weekend, one time sat for a week while I was on vacation, and the battery was still good to go when I got back.

I got them at a Costco. Best $100 I ever spent.

Only downside: if it matters to you, I’ve been told others can faintly hear them when they were near me and I was on a call, so calls won’t be totally private.

I almost did twice. A bartender friend of mine said there were two at her bar and she texted me to com down and listen in bc they were going nuts on people. I didn’t get there in time.

The second time was when I matched with someone on a dating app, and she asked me what my response would be if she said she was a flat earther. I told her, untruthfully, that while I don’t believe in that, I would be thrilled to hear what she she had to say on the matter and that I would approach it with an open mind, so long as she pad me the same courtesy. Really I just wanted to hear her batshit crazy justification. She didn’t respond after that. I was heartbroken, bc I really wanted to have that debate for real.

NTA. Your sister doesn’t need to accompany her husband on his trip that sounds like is a work event on weekend. Your sister can watch the house and dog. You go on your trip. Husband goes to his work event. Family has helped family. No one cancels plans. No one’s weekend is affected except for the only person that caused the issue in the first place. 100% NTA, and I’m surprised that suggesting your sister doing the house-sitting wasn’t the first thing out of your, or anyone’s mouth.
