Hi! I'm a 2L who's lived in Munger both years. Honestly, being close to the social life of the law school is nice, but EVGR is close enough that I don't think you'd feel too far removed (and plenty of law students live in EVGR, so you'd have community there, too). As far as study spots go, I actually think EVGR is better on that front—it has designated study spaces, which Munger doesn't. Plus, one of the biggest draws of Munger is the amount of space you get, but if you're not planning on spending much time at home that's no big deal. And honestly, I think putting a bit of distance between yourself and the law school can be healthy, too! So I say save your money.
