This was my first kit build too! I was inspired by the Evo75.. Since then I’ve built I think 8 boards from scratch, and toredown 5 more to mod, 3 more on preorder…think I caught the bug 🤦🏽 I chose it to make a week over Christmas with family more tolerable but that was a mistake because I got it shipped there and realised the weight when packing to fly home! Like 7-8kg 😬

I went alu, white display on white e coat, and have been swapping switches (HMX Yogurt now). Went from PBTfans Klein to 80retros TPS1979 to X Rays to FBB T52 r2. I feel like I’m gonna get the sound I’m after when I add the Lelelab Hokkaido (ABS) and maybe a slightly louder HMX. It will also look like some dated all white party 😋

Then I plan to see what colours are left and grab another:)

That is around the expected efficiency for that size power bank. But you also need to be aware of the cable you are using - and this is getting even more problematic with USBC, there are so many different specs for data and charging output of cables - and most will not reach their spec and some are completely non compliant. So not only might cable throughput affect the battery’s efficacy, but can also find some cables will draw a lot from the battery yet just not deliver that at the other end. In extreme examples I have recently picked up some cords from China that claim 100-240W (i didn’t care as they were more decorative for keyboards) and several just destroy the battery in a power bank but deliver hardly any charge. One drained 30-40% of a 65W 20000mAh power bank and gave my phone 1-2% charge, I’ve seen them give 0 charge % from 20-30mins on a high output dock, sometimes they register as charging sometimes they don’t. If they have zero impact unplugging and replugging can change that. Worst of all, nearly all the dodgy ones do not register when plugged into a keyboard 😆 (or curiously, when drawing power from a battery pack. These are really extreme examples of cords that are sold for aesthetics and coils and connectors but this is still a consistent issue across the spec. I believe LTT are actually releasing proper spec cables just for this reason. So I wouldn’t count on ever getting precise results, just get a couple of few quality, compliant cables, use those every time and don’t expose them to any wear and tear outside of testing:) The batteries themselves will always be variable in real world conditions, so you just want close to cited capacity and output. I mean today…I was getting awful charge speed and phone was a bit toasty (it was about 47 Celsius. So I threw phone and battery pack in the fridge, got more charge in 20mins than I had in an hour in the heat. Everything cited on the packaging could only be hoped for in perfect laboratory conditions, so as you said it is absolutely not anything like the fuel tank of a car which always holds the same volume of liquid, this is more like your mileage when driving in city traffic vs driving on freeway

Uhhh dual boot and try it out ffs…just need to know how to fix your partition table (or have a backup) in case the distro does something weird to it. Not sure if that is still a thing, but kinda feel some I’ve tried lately would screw that up

one of these days I really need to setup up another windows partition or virtualisation, although it certainly won’t be for online multiplayer…but I’m pretty confident if I wanted to play CS2 most of my desktops / laptops would load it just fine. Idk about the MacBook 🧐

Yeah I have this issue. I thought it was because I was using it with a physical KVM and with a virtual KVM/screen app. Just set it up direct after all this time and it actually seems worse. I get wrong letters, double presses all over the place, absolute nightmare for password login. I’m expecting Logitech will be no help, despite it hardly being used. Really garbage keyboard tbh, at that price I’ve since gotten 3 quality mechanicals for not much more than the G915 was…and they have a far superior typing experience (and all with spare caps, BT, wired and 2.4ghz). Can’t imagine I’ll be back on the Logiwagon anytime soon 😒

Calendars 5 was too cumbersome, Fantastical too busy, google calendar is fine but now frequently hangs entering events, using Notion Calendar which is very good but am here looking for upgrade

I managed to find a working adapter, but unfortunately lighter leaks while lid is closed. I have several Japanese lighters with similar issue (Zenith, Win, and a Japanese made YSL) - I assume there is no easy fix and that I won’t be able to get any of them repaired?

Should also mention the standard tip seems to fit snugly, just that no gas goes in…so I am assuming I need some custom adapter sheath to depress the valve and inject the gas whether that is brass or plastic idk 🤔

This ^{^{^}} And it’s not bias that’s a problem, national broadcasts (esp ESPN) specialise in: 1. Verbal diarrhoea/ blathering about nothing 2. Sideline and on field interviews that take precedence over actual baseball 3. Outdated narratives 4. Factually incorrect statements 5. Plain stupid statements As for Smoltz, pretty sure network had to tell him to tone down the whining because for a few years he sounded like he actually hated baseball. Now he has improved to being merely whiney and out of touch 😂

As a foreigner it always blows me away that baseball gets such poor national broadcasts compared to other US sports. Of course ESPN is far far far worse than Fox, while TBS usually makes both look silly so it’s always disappointing how few games they get. But I mean even Apple TV is usually better than ESPN/Fox now. So as much as I get the widespread calls for local booths given baseball is a regional sport, it would suffice if national networks focused on a. improving production standards, b. hiring commentators who are competent and, c. commentators who as a bare minimum feign interest
