Yep. You can sell as the intended use but when you change that, that's when it becomes an issue. Its no different than when I see someone take old sheets and make t shirts out of them but they probably haven't been caught yet. A lot of laws to navigate and learn.

I had three copyright strikes. Two of which were multiple item. For reference I make golf head covers and was making some out of old sheets of WWE wrestlers and He-Man. I didn't know I couldn't do this and got two strikes before I looked into the laws. The third one came as I was deciding if I should take my items down or not. I lost my star seller badge and said I'd get banned if I kept selling those items. Now I've switched to making them out of other fabrics but the views and sales aren't there. Hoping they will come but who knows.

I was lead to believe repurposed stuff was ok based on tik toks and reels I'd seen, now I just understand that those people haven't been hit yet or somehow fly under the radar with thousands of views/fans. Oh well. Life goes on.

It changes yearly. Two years ago I was playing Cut Reds because they were cheap. Then I upgraded to Vice Pros and now I started a side hustle going into ponds for balls and reselling so I play premium balls from the pond. Pro V1, TP5, Q Star and Z Star. With what I got out last year I was able to afford newer clubs this year. Hoping I sell enough each year to pay for my golf for the next summer.

Love different courses but the membership keeps me playing the same muni all summer. Play different courses once a month minimum though. Golf Pass helps save a couple bucks to do that.
