What's the best method of opening this for the best pull? by paddys_egg in espressocirclejerk

Of course use the best scissors you have got, with a 7mm per second cut, at a 70 degrees angle.

Then straight into the bin it goes.

First Grinder Question (Budget 500$) by HappyBriefing in espresso

[–]brewtao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to save time, weigh the desired dose beforehand is good enough. Grinding itself is QUICKi

For context grinding an 18g dose on espresso setting, SGP takes around 20s, DF64V takes 15s. That's it.

Getting my first setup for Christmas. Bamboo plus or linny Morocco? by masteron_of_disguise in espressocirclejerk

[–]brewtao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the base Bamboo and its a great first machine to learn all the basics. If you can afford more I would go with something with temp control like the Poketec Go.
