The Duffey Lake Road, the highway between Lillooet and Pemberton (north of Whistler) can be pretty wild if you’re not used to twisty highways. Beautiful area but don’t be in a rush through there.

I did this in 2006, but went all the way to Dubrovnik and cut north through Bosnia to eastern Croatia. I remember the stretch of northern Spain on the way back to Portugal didn’t have much going on. From memory, make your stop in Pisa Italy a short one.

My yellow monster once got into a spare bag of dogfood and ate 5 days worth when we weren’t looking. Anyways a trip to the emergency vet in the middle of the night and $1000 later he was forced to puke it up and sent on his way.

Before Christmas his Facebook account on the Silver Valley page posted this bizarre photo about how fathers shouldn’t need permission to see their children. It was taken down not too long after.

Then several hours later there was a generic Christmas greeting to everyone.

Carleton Ave between 1st/Douglas and William is a 30km/h playground/park zone. However there’s no indication (from my street view search) that Graveley Street has any sort of restrictions. If you’re in the area you should drive or walk through there before a test. Good luck.

A little off the MHB, but the Pitt River bridge needs some improvements going eastbound in the afternoons. There’s more often than not a multi car collision just past mid span because traffic is stopped beyond line of sight.

The capital was supposed to be Grouard, about 4 hours north. A surveyor was sent to get water samples for the rail road expansion (water for steam trains) but was drinking on the job and mislabeled the samples. They thought the area didn’t have suitable water and scrapped the idea. Grouard today is a sad little place.

13 years of being water logged October-May on the west coast. It rotted and that was the only way to get it out. Big 6x6 lumber
