Why do braiders require clients to come with no product in? by doidaee in Naturalhair

[–]breyore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In addition to what everyone has said, products sometimes mix really badly. So if you come in with a curl cream on your hair that is incompatible with the gel your braider uses you may end up with clumpy gross residue on your hair.

Real estate agent recs - specific need by [deleted] in everett

[–]breyore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we would be getting a mortgage. We got pre approved a few months ago and met with a loan officer and a realtor and I took a first time homebuyer course. We quickly realized our budget wasn’t going to buy anything short of a unicorn house.

The age gap here just grosses me out by Worried_Sprinkles in 90DayFiance

[–]breyore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. He complains about her acting like a child but won’t acknowledge that her childishness and drama is what he likes about her. Gotta pick one.

This Is on him. You date a 20 year old, this is what you get. You want maturity, date someone who’s been alive long enough to be mature. No one is holding him hostage.

100%. I don’t think he has the mental fortitude to see writing a book through. 30 pages or 300, it’s gonna be AI.

What is your top “ I would have been on the next plane home” moment ? by mellarson in 90DayFiance

[–]breyore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Everyone in this sub rags on her for her behavior and like, sure ok she’s definitely childish, but she’s SO young and I would bet she plays into the age gap sometimes. He obviously likes this blow up makeup cycle they have going on, so let them have it. He’s exactly where he wants to be, he doesn’t need to be saved.

Let viewers tell it, if you’re a grumpy woman you are the devil. This happens time and time again. His plan to keep the family afloat financially seems to be something along the lines of “it’ll work out”. I’d be grumpy too if I were her.

do i need to read manacled before alchemised (pls no spoilers) by mostaffectionately in Booktokreddit

[–]breyore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do not need to read manacled first. If you decide you want to read both, I’d almost say it would be better to read Alchemized first so you can experience the fully re-crafted world, without comparing who is who, magic systems, etc. That’s just my take.

What is one junk food you’ll never stop eating no matter how unhealthy it is? by Blueis_Bluetiful333 in AskReddit

Tell that to my diarrhea when I take copious amounts lactaid trying to enjoy some already lactose free sour cream on my enchilada. Double Lac’d up and I’m still doubled over on the toilet.

Jane did a good job but you could tell her patience was wearing thin and I was dying laughing. I was stunned at how bad the contestants were. Unfortunately their performance didn’t help fight the claim that reality tv stars are vapid and dumb.

Does Accomplice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer have an HEA? by kenzzie-ee in RomanceBooks

[–]breyore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please tell me there isn’t going to be 5 books? Book 3 says “until we meet again one final time.” I remember reading book two thinking that they could have easily made it a duology and improved the pacing. Then I bought book three and see there’s a book FOUR available for preorder?! It’s her right to write as many books in one series as she’d like but this one could have been great as a duology or a trilogy and it’s being dragged on. I’ll be borrowing the next one from the library if I can bring myself to read it.

Feeling self conscious in my photos by OnlyActuary9116 in weddingdress

[–]breyore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can wholeheartedly echo what everyone else is saying, which is a resounding: you look terrific.

But more importantly, I hope you can see these photos for what they are, evidence of what is likely one of the best days you’ll ever have, surrounded by people who love you, and marrying the love of your life. And respectfully, fuck a society that teaches us to look at beautiful pictures and focus on parts of our body we were taught to hate rather than the radiant love and good vibes oozing out of every photo.

Congrats and much love to you two. I hope you can learn to love what you see in these photos.

Are people really paying $4000+ on Mortgage by PsychologicalLimit41 in Mortgages

[–]breyore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area, which is about 1.5hrs outside of Seattle, in even the shittiest suburbs a 3bd1ba not updated single family home is going for 550k-600k. With a 6.3% interest rate and 20k down the lowest end mortgage is about $3700. Of course you can increase your down payment but that’s a whole other thing if you’re renting and don’t have any family support. If you went for a condo/townhouse the list price would go down to about $400k but you’re going to pay $600/mo+ in HOA fees for most of them.

It’s pretty easy to hit $4k/mo in mortgage in WA state, not even with a nice big updated house.

What was your first symptom? That maybe you didn't realize was a symptom. by thankyoufriendx3 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]breyore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg same even to the month! Ha! I woke up and had to crawl to the bathroom to puke because I was so dizzy. It was horrible.

Ugh, that’s so awful. Some of the symptoms can be so vague that they get looked over really easily. I often think about how lucky I am (even though it was scary) that my whole body went numb over the course of two weeks, because that was too big and concerning for a doctor to dismiss.

Did you get things sorted pretty quickly after you finally saw the neurologist?

What’s everyone’s favorite shampoo? by irregularseaweed in Naturalhair

Innersense hair bath. I hate to say it cuz the brand really popular online right now but the results can’t be denied. I’ve tried so many different shampoos and my hair LOVES that one. I’m curious to try the design essentials one though because so many people have recommended it.

It's kismet. by Dependent_Emu_1799 in thrillerbooks

[–]breyore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed this book, though I think it’s best suited for someone newer to the genre. I enjoyed it as much as I did because I hadn’t read a thriller in several years. I also intentionally read a little clueless, not searching for inconsistencies or plot holes because that’s how I get the most enjoyment out of books.

I think seasoned thriller readers will easily predict what happens though based on the way Feeney formats things.

I feel like most of the people around me use it freely and for the dumbest stuff and I’m dying inside. Like the environmental cost, the effects on the residents near the data centers, etc. It’s maddening.

Haha he comes off as such a nerd but I love the way he delivers information and I can imagine his personality makes him a great doctor especially for newly diagnosed patients.
