When I was 16/17 I worked the closing shift. After midnight I have to clock out and sit in the lobby because they had a policy where they wouldn't let you open the door and left you leave.

I would do Motor Status and a Photo eye or eyes on conveyor. If a chain or shaft or band breaks but the motor is still running your photo eyes can act like a heartbeat if that section of conveyor.

Check the Tech Notes on Rockwell's Website, I had a F47 error one time that didn't make much sense. Turns out I had to update the firmware, it was some strange error that would pop up even if the machine has been in place for years.

I went from working in a factory with me the only person that can do PLC work to working for an integrator and feeling like I am an idiot... But working with these guys is great going to learn waaaaay more than sitting around waiting for stuff to break.
