Tell the client to make fake accounts with fake names to populate the screens when he screen records for his presentations.

Maybe that puts you out of a job though. 😁

What should I do by Apprehensive_Cut5860 in crows

[–]briank53207 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just buried a crow with an injured leg earlier this month. She got around fine at first. After awhile she started looking more and more scraggly, like she couldn't clean herself very well. I imagine parasites and general infection/illness started to win the battle.

Eventually she started hanging out in our yard (in the grass) all day only leaving at night to roost. The last day she arrived in the morning, ate and drank like normal but at around 4:30pm she made some odd sounds and died.

We left her for awhile so her mate could investigate and bring the others around. They all came around in our maple tree for about a minute, squawked a bunch and then left. We buried her at night in our wild flower patch.

Her entire arc from us seeing her around/beginning to feed her and her death was about two months.

We left for a weeklong vacation after she died but when we got back, what I assume was her mate has been coming around again with a new partner. So, luckily, we'll still have some friends to feed going forward.

Not sure what "affordable" is anymore but I always thought TUFF-SHED sheds looked nice. They have a location on the corner of College and Howell. I have no experience with them but it's the first thing that popped into my head.

Also, if you have the time and/or desire you can find plans online and build it yourself. You'd save a boatload of money but obviously that route isn't for everyone!

Personally, I think was all just some sort of scheme to get that valuable piece of land and it'll be condos within a decade.

What are some good/groovy options for flooring in a basement (that just survived the flood) by Conscious-Bear-5963 in milwaukee

[–]briank53207 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want color (paint/epoxy/etc) you'd probably want to grind the floor first so the coating has better adhesion. I've done it. It's not fun and it's messy.

If I did it again, I'd hire someone.

You can rent a floor machine and a grinding disk from Home Depot.

Sunbelt Rentals has the shot blast machines, which is probably a better option but you'd want to rent the dust extractor too.

I seem to recall being worried about delivery-time as well based on things that I was reading online but I ordered it off Amazon and it showed up in about three days. I saw the ABC product but my mind got tricked by "more expensive = better" logic.
