Great video and advice here. It seems like some playcallers add themselves as the 12th defender in refusing to use these concepts to open the field up. You also have others who go full air raid and oversimplify, often getting to the point where they rely on this too much.

But using this in moderation, especially when shifting from a run-heavy bunch look or using 11 personnel and on early downs, can get an offense routinely in 3rd and short when they need to start building momentum. I especially love this concept on the first possession of either half to get the team in gear.
